Sleep, nap, strength

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Let me fall asleep at least ### min. I must go to my ### place to give her ### and i am tired.
Also please let me catch up a sleep tonight. Nice at least ### hours uninterrupted sleep from any outside or inside force in Jesus name.

We join with you in prayer for rest and strength, for we know how wearying it is to be tired and still have duties before us.

We are thankful you called on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the Father. We lift up your need for a nap now and for deep, uninterrupted sleep tonight, asking God to grant you the rest your body and mind need to serve Him and fulfill what is before you.

Scripture reminds us that sleep is a gift from God and that He watches over us as we rest. For he gives sleep to his loved ones, Psalm 127:2. And we are comforted that In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety, Psalm 4:8. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet, Proverbs 3:24. Jesus Himself invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and lift up our dear one who is tired and in need of rest. We ask that You would grant the nap that is needed, that You would quiet the mind and body and allow sleep to come quickly and peacefully for the time that has been asked. Give strength for the journey to that place and for the task of giving what needs to be given, and let Your grace sustain every step. Tonight we ask for Your protection and peace over sleep, that You would keep away every outside and inside disturbance, every anxious thought, every noise and interruption, and grant several hours of deep, uninterrupted, restorative sleep. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us, and we ask for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. Let Your presence be a shield through the night, for You who keep Israel will neither slumber nor sleep, Psalm 121:4, and You are faithful to watch over Your children. Renew strength as You have promised, that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength, Isaiah 40:31, and let this rest restore body, soul, and spirit for the days ahead. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to rest in His care even as you seek sleep. Try to quiet your heart before the Lord before you lie down, committing your concerns to Him in prayer, trusting that He is at work even while you sleep. If sleep does not come at once, do not be anxious, but breathe a prayer and remember He is near and He knows your need. We trust He will grant you the rest and strength you need according to His perfect love and wisdom.

We hear how tired you are right now, wanting just a short real nap before you need to go out, and then a full night of uninterrupted rest tonight. Trying to be there for someone else while your body is asking for sleep is a hard place to be, and we are holding that with you in prayer.

We are asking God to give you the rest you named, a gentle nap that restores enough strength for your errand, and then steady quiet sleep tonight without being startled awake from inside or outside. He knows how deeply sleep matters for our bodies and our peace, and He sees you trying to be faithful even while you are exhausted.

If you notice sleep is often broken or hard to come by, it can help to talk it over with a doctor or trusted counselor alongside prayer, just to make sure you are cared for well.

Father, we bring our tired friend to You in Jesus name. Grant a calm nap that restores strength, keep them safe as they go to that place and return, and tonight cover them with quiet uninterrupted sleep under Your watch. Settle mind and body and wake them refreshed. Amen.

Your cry for sleep and for renewed strength has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you.

We are reminded of the prophet's word, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, for all strength apart from God is but borrowed and must come to an end. The Lord knows our frame and that we need constant renewal, and He has promised that to those who have no might He will increase strength. Therefore we do not look to ourselves to find rest or vigor, but we wait upon Him who alone can sustain us.

It is written, So he giveth his beloved sleep. Sleep is not merely nature's necessity but a gift from the hand of our Father. He gives to His beloved not only the sleep of the body for refreshment, but the sleep of contentment and of security, for the soul that rests in Christ may lie down in peace though the world be full of care. When we are weary, He recruits our exhausted strength to fit us for fresh service when we awake.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps would grant you this gift. May He give you the short rest you seek, to fall asleep quickly and to be refreshed, and may He gird you with strength for the duty that lies before you as you go to your place of labor. And for this night, we ask that He would grant you long and uninterrupted sleep, keeping you from every disturbance without and every restlessness within, covering you with His peace.

Cast your weariness upon Him, for He will strengthen you and He will bestow it wisely and graciously. Wait upon the Lord in prayer even as you lie down, and trust Him to renew you like the eagle's, that you may go forth again in the power which He supplies.

We commend you to Him who is the glory of our strength, praying that you may awake refreshed and restored, to serve Him with renewed vigor. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for sleep and strength has been heard and we join you in prayer before the Lord who gives rest to the weary.

We understand you are tired and in need of a short nap now so that you have strength for what you must do next, and also longing for a full and uninterrupted night of sleep. God knows our frame and that we need rest. Scripture says that He gives sleep to His beloved and that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so we can rest knowing He watches over us while we sleep.

We pray that the Lord would grant you a peaceful nap and renew your strength for the task ahead, and that He would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus and calm any anxiety or restlessness. We pray that tonight He would grant you deep, orderly and uninterrupted rest, free from disturbance from outside or inside, and that you would wake refreshed and restored.

We also pray that He would help you to use this rest well, not for mere indulgence but for health and for service to Him, keeping your heart collected and watchful when you are awake and at peace when you sleep. As Jesus invites us, come to Him all you who are weary and heavy laden and He will give you rest.

May the Lord in His mercy grant you both the brief rest you need now and a full night of sleep tonight according to His good will, and may He strengthen you for every duty He has placed before you. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your tiredness and need for rest is heard, and your desire to have strength for what you need to do next is understood. Wanting a short time to sleep now and then a full night of uninterrupted sleep is a humble and honest request before the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves. The Lord Himself is the strength of our lives, our light and our salvation, so we do not need to be afraid. He is a shield for those who trust in Him, and when our hearts trust Him we find help and can rejoice. One psalm says the Lord will give strength to His people and bless His people with peace, and that is still His promise to you. You can go in the strength of the Lord God rather than in your own, whether you are young or older, and His Word can become your strength and portion as you look to Him. True strength, as seen in the life of Samson, was not in himself but in being separated unto God and committed to Him.

God also understands our physical limits and He is the one who watches over us as we rest. Like a shepherd who lies at the door of the fold so that nothing can come in or out without passing by him, the Lord keeps His own. He is the one who makes His people to dwell safely and to sleep securely even in the wilderness, and He is the one who can cause a deep and peaceful sleep to fall upon us. He knows what it is to be exhausted, and He stands near even when weariness overtakes us.

I pray for you now that the Lord will grant you that brief time of sleep you need, and restore your strength for the task before you. May He lift you up, keep you, and give you His peace. May He grant you a full night of quiet, uninterrupted sleep, kept safe from any disturbance from without or within, and may you awake refreshed and upheld by His hand. May you know His help and His strength carrying you through, with your heart at rest in Him, in Jesus name.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for rest and strength.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant you that needed nap and the grace to fall asleep quickly, to renew your strength as you were tired, and to sustain you as you needed to go to that place to give what was needed. We also prayed with you for a night of sweet and uninterrupted sleep, kept from any outside or inside disturbance, and for the Lord to restore you fully.

We remember the promise of Psalm 127:2 that He gives sleep to His beloved and Psalm 4:8 that we can lie down and sleep in peace for You alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety.

If your request was answered and the Lord has granted you rest, that nap, strength for your errand, and a full night of uninterrupted sleep, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and you are still struggling with tiredness or broken sleep, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
