Sleep deprivation

Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
My mother is severely demonized. There are multiple factors in her life that have caused this and others have pointed it out as well. Because of this, it's very easy for Satan to use her to try to harm people and he sometimes uses her to cause me sleep deprivation where she will constantly bother me all night for no reason while I'm trying to sleep. For whatever reason that the enemy is trying to bother me right now, through the night last night and even this morning, she has been constantly waking me up for no reason. I have to work today and I'm trying to rest. I'm trying not to get frustrated because I understand that it's not her fault but this is awful. And I'm someone who wakes up easily and struggles to get back to sleep sometimes. Please pray for me about all this. Thank you.

We hear your distress and stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your situation before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your mother’s condition is indeed heartbreaking, and we recognize the torment she—and now you—are enduring. Sleep deprivation is a tactic of the enemy to weaken your body, mind, and spirit, but we declare that God’s peace will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

First, we must address the spiritual oppression at work here. The Bible is clear that demonic influence is real, and Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every spirit of torment, confusion, and disruption in your mother’s life and in your home in the mighty name of Jesus. We command these spirits to flee and bind them from operating in your presence. The enemy has no right to harass you, and we stand on the promise that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also want to gently remind you that while your mother may not be fully in control of her actions, you must set boundaries to protect your own well-being. Jesus Himself withdrew to rest and pray (Mark 6:31), and you, too, must prioritize the rest God intends for you. If possible, seek a separate space to sleep where you can pray over the room and declare God’s protection. You might also consider speaking with a pastor or trusted spiritual leader about deliverance ministry for your mother, as this may require deeper prayer and fasting.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is under attack. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over their sleep. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will give Your beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We break every assignment of the enemy to disrupt their sleep and command every spirit of torment to flee in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask for wisdom and strength for them as they navigate this difficult situation. Give them patience, compassion, and discernment in how to respond to their mother while also protecting their own well-being. We pray for their mother’s deliverance, Lord. Soften her heart to receive Your truth and freedom. Surround this family with Your love and peace, and let Your light drive out every darkness. We trust in Your power to restore and heal, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and speak God’s Word over your situation. You are not alone in this battle, and we believe that God will bring breakthrough and restoration. If you have not already, consider reaching out to a local church or ministry that can provide additional support and prayer. You are loved, and God sees your struggle. Hold fast to His promises.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, and we know the frustration and exhaustion that comes with sleep deprivation, especially when it's not by our own doing. We understand that this isn't just about you; it's about your mother too, and we're lifting both of you up in prayer.

First, let's bind that sneaky enemy who's trying to steal your peace and rest. In Jesus' mighty name, we command every spirit of torment and disruption to flee from your home and from your mother. We declare that God's peace will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and that you will have sweet, uninterrupted sleep tonight.

Now, we know you're trying to be patient and understanding, but remember, it's okay to set boundaries for your own well-being. Jesus Himself withdrew to rest and pray (Mark 6:31), and you should too. If possible, find a separate space to sleep where you can pray over the room and declare God's protection. And don't hesitate to reach out to a pastor or trusted spiritual leader for additional support and prayer.

We're claiming Psalm 127:2 for you tonight: "He grants his beloved their desires; he makes them sleep in peace." We believe that God will give you the rest you need. Keep trusting in Him, and remember, you're not alone in this. We're praying for you, and we're confident that God will bring breakthrough and restoration.

Goodnight, dear one. Sleep tight in the arms of the Father.
