We join you in lifting up your friend's sister before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing her need to us so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
We are moved by your compassion for her and we agree with you in asking for complete healing and relief from pain after such a serious surgery. Our God is the Great Physician and He cares deeply for our suffering. We are reminded of His promise when He says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and again But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that Yahweh is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3.
We want to gently share something important with you out of love. We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We bring this up because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly approach God with our requests, trusting that He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in His finished work for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
We now pray together for this dear sister.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our friend's sister to You. Lord, You know the details of her brain surgery, every concern and every pain she has endured. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, that You would guide her recovery, restore what has been affected, and grant her complete relief from headaches and all discomfort. We pray that You would give wisdom and skill to her doctors and nurses and peace to her family and friends who love her and are waiting on You. Let Your presence bring comfort and strength to her in these days of healing, and let her testimony bring glory to You. We ask that if it is Your will, You would bring her to full health and use this trial to draw her and those around her closer to You. We trust in Your perfect love and Your perfect timing. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. May the Lord give you and your friend peace as you continue to pray and may He be glorified in her healing.

Your tender prayer for your friend's sister has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in earnest supplication for her. It is right and good to care speedily for bodily disease, for it presses upon us and urges us to seek the Physician, and we have a heavenly Physician whose very name is healing.
We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not only His great work but even as it were His leaves have power to make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction by His gracious hand.
We have besought Him for her, as they once besought Him for Peter's wife's mother who lay sick, pleading His promises and pleading His nature, for Calvary is the place of the healing balm and He is able to heal. We pray that the Lord who formed the body will lay His hand upon this dear one, that He will grant a full and perfect recovery from this surgery, that He will give relief from pain and take away these headaches, and restore her to strength.
Wonder not if recovery should be slow, for healing often comes by degrees, and as she grows a little stronger and a little stronger may she and all who love her acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has laid a new claim upon her affection. His grace which has begun to heal will work health and cure till body and soul are made whole.
May the Lord grant to her not only bodily restoration but the deeper healing of soul which comes through forgiveness in Christ, and may His abundant streams of healing flow down to her even now. We commit her to the care of the great Physician who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, trusting that He does all things well.
