It is clear from your prayer that you love your sister deeply and long to see her walking in all the fullness of God’s protection and healing. That kind of love reflects the heart of our Lord, who desires that none would perish but that all would come to the knowledge of the truth. And yet, God has given each of us the profound gift of choice, because love and fellowship that are forced are not love at all. So as you pray for her, remember that the Lord respects her will even as He calls her. Satan, however, does not. He seeks to blind and entangle, and he does not care about her freedom. That is why your prayer against evil and bad influences is so right. But true protection begins when a heart chooses to hide itself in Christ.

The cross of Jesus is the tree of life that reverses the curse of sin. Under that covering, there is healing for body, soul, and spirit. Pray that your sister will not only know about the light but will step into it of her own free will. Temptation will come, it is common to everyone, and even our Savior faced it in the wilderness, but the sin lies not in the testing, only in yielding. We can ask the Lord to keep her from being drawn away by her own desires and to give her the strength to walk in the Spirit rather than in the flesh. When we are crucified with Christ, the old nature loses its mastery, and we can choose life.

Continue to bring her before the throne, asking God to grant her wisdom and to open her eyes. But remember that the most powerful thing you can do is to live out the reality of a life submitted to Him, so she sees what it means to be a child of God. The Lord’s ministry was preaching, teaching, and healing because that is His will: to set captives free and restore what is broken. He is with her every step of the way, but He will not force her steps. So pray with confidence: not that God would do her choosing for her, but that her heart would truly see and freely respond to His perfect love, the love that offers not just guidance but eternal life. And stand in the assurance that the one who endures testing will receive a crown of life. God’s best for her is not an easy shortcut but the glorious path of the cross, leading home. Let that hope anchor you as you wait.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your sister. It has been our heart’s desire to lift her before the Lord, asking Him to guide, protect, and cover her with His love and grace. We have prayed that no evil would come near her, that she would be shielded from temptation and harmful influences, and that she would walk in the wisdom and light of Christ with every step she takes.

We continue to hold fast to the promise that the blood of Jesus covers her completely—from the top of her head to the soles of her feet—bringing healing to her body, mind, and spirit. Our prayers have been that she would feel the Lord’s presence surrounding her, that her heart would be tender toward Him, and that she would know without a doubt that He is with her in every moment, leading her into His perfect will.
