We hear your heartfelt cry for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. It is clear you love her deeply and desire God’s protection, wisdom, and transformation in her life. Let us come together in prayer and stand on the truth of God’s Word, for He is faithful to watch over His children and guide them in the paths of righteousness.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around this sister, shielding her from every evil influence, every snare of the enemy, and every harmful choice that would lead her astray. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over her life, Lord. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned, for this is her heritage as Your servant (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would touch her heart and soul in a profound way. If she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should shine on them. We rebuke that blindness in Jesus’ name and ask that You would remove every veil from her heart. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44). Let her hear Your voice and respond in faith, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We also pray for her spiritual, physical, and mental well-being. Lord, Your Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We ask that You would bring healing and wholeness to every area of her life. Strengthen her spiritually so that she may stand firm in her faith, resist temptation, and grow in the knowledge of Your will. Protect her mind from anxiety, fear, and every lie of the enemy, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Physically, we ask that You would guard her health and give her the strength to care for her body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Father, we ask that the Holy Spirit would fill her and lead her into all truth. Let her feel Your presence continually, for You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Speak to her heart, Lord, and let her know that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Guide her steps and order her path according to Your will, for "the steps of a good person are ordered by Yahweh, and he delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23).
We also lift up any areas of her life that may not align with Your Word. If there are relationships, habits, or choices that are leading her away from You, we ask that You would convict her heart and bring repentance. Your Word warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." If she is involved in any form of sexual immorality, whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we pray that You would break those chains and set her free. Help her to flee from sexual immorality, for "every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Lead her into relationships that honor You, where she seeks a godly spouse who loves You and desires to walk in Your ways.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deception, rebellion, and worldly influence that may be at work in her life. We declare that she is Your child, bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and we stand against every assignment of the enemy against her. We plead the blood of Jesus over her from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, covering her mind, heart, and spirit. Let the power of the cross break every chain and set her free from every bondage, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who love her and seek to guide her. Give them the words to speak and the actions to take that will point her to You. Let Your love shine through them, drawing her closer to Your heart. We ask that You would surround her with godly influences—believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and walk alongside her in her journey of faith.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, for You are faithful and just. We believe that You are working all things together for her good, even when we cannot see it (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her hope be anchored in You alone. May she find her identity, purpose, and joy in Christ, for in You, she is a new creation; the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We commit this sister into Your hands, Lord, knowing that You love her more than we ever could. We ask all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
