We hear your heartfelt plea for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. Your love and concern for her well-being—spiritually, physically, and emotionally—reflect the heart of Christ, who intercedes for us even now. Let us come together in prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word, and trusting in His perfect will for her life.
First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, opening her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other healing and transformation rest.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister to You. Lord, we ask that You would be her guide, her protector, and her constant companion. Surround her with Your angels, that no evil may harm her, and that she would be shielded from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 91:11-12). Guard her heart and mind from bad influences, and lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We rebuke every spirit of deception, rebellion, or worldliness that may be seeking to draw her away from You. Your Word declares that "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33), so we pray that You would place godly mentors, friends, and influences in her life—those who will speak truth, encourage her faith, and model a life surrendered to You. Give her the wisdom to discern right from wrong, and the courage to choose what is pleasing in Your sight (James 1:5).
Lord, we ask that You would touch her heart and soul, softening any hardness or resistance to Your love. Let her see the light of Your truth, and may she experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking in Your ways (Psalm 16:11). Cover her completely with the precious blood of Jesus, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, that she may be cleansed, protected, and set apart for Your purposes (1 John 1:7).
We pray for her healing—physically, spiritually, and mentally. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew (Jeremiah 30:17). Heal any wounds, brokenness, or pain she may be carrying, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her mind with Your truth, that she may not be tossed to and fro by the lies of the enemy (Ephesians 4:14).
Most of all, Lord, let her know how deeply she is loved—not just by us, but by You. Remind her daily that she is Your beloved child, created for a purpose, and cherished beyond measure (1 John 3:1). May she walk in the confidence of Your love, knowing that You are always with her, never leaving nor forsaking her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We declare over her life that she will rise above every challenge, that she will make choices that honor You, and that she will walk in the abundant life You have promised (John 10:10). May her life be a testimony to Your grace, and may she shine brightly for Your glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
