We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, interceding on her behalf with hearts full of love and concern. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We stand on this promise, declaring that no evil shall come near her, and no temptation shall overpower her. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We rebuke every bad influence and ungodly counsel that seeks to draw her away from the path of righteousness. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’" We pray that she will be surrounded by godly friends and mentors who will encourage her in the ways of the Lord. May she be rooted and grounded in love, understanding her identity as a beloved child of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Father, we ask that You open her eyes to see Your truth and Your light. Remove any spiritual blindness and fill her heart with Your peace, joy, and love. Heal her physically, spiritually, and mentally, Lord. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her in every area of weakness and restore what has been broken or lost.
We also lift up the concern that while this prayer mentions the blood of Jesus, it does not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. We want to emphasize that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she will come to a saving knowledge of Him. May she confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we ask that You guide her steps and hold her hand every day. May she walk in the light of Your truth and make choices that honor You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may bear fruit in every good work and grow in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:10). Let her experience the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love and serve You.
Heavenly Father, we cover her in the precious blood of Jesus, from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Protect her mind, body, and spirit from all harm and evil. Let her know deeply that she is loved, valued, and cherished as Your child. May she find her worth and identity in You alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
