We join you in lifting up your sister before the Lord, interceding for her protection, guidance, and spiritual renewal. Your heart for her is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on behalf of those who love Him. It is beautiful that you are praying for her with such fervor, and we encourage you to continue covering her in prayer, for "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16, WEB).
We do notice that while your prayer is heartfelt, the name of Jesus was not invoked directly as the authority through which we pray. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, as Scripture declares, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24, WEB). We must always pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we also pray that her eyes and heart would be opened to receive Him, for true transformation and protection come through a personal relationship with Christ.
We also sense a deep concern for her spiritual and physical well-being, and we lift her up for healing and deliverance from any influences that are not of God. The Bible assures us that the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18) and that He is faithful to complete the work He begins in us (Philippians 1:6). If your sister is struggling with sin, temptation, or unhealthy relationships, we pray that the Lord would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Scripture reminds us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2, WEB). May she turn away from any path that does not honor Him and walk in the light of His truth.
Let us pray together for her:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious sister to You. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your divine protection and cover her with the blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. Shield her from every scheme of the enemy and deliver her from temptation, for Your Word promises that You will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Break every chain of sin, bondage, or unhealthy influence in her life, Lord, and set her free to walk in Your righteousness.
Father, we pray for her physical and spiritual healing. Touch her body, mind, and soul with Your healing power, and restore her to full health. Open her eyes to see Your truth and Your love for her, that she may know she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let her heart be softened to Your voice, Lord, and draw her closer to You. If she has strayed from Your path, convict her spirit and lead her to repentance, that she may experience the joy of Your forgiveness and the peace of Your presence.
Lord, we ask that You would place godly influences in her life—people who will encourage her, speak truth to her, and point her to You. Remove any relationships or habits that are not pleasing to You, and replace them with Your perfect will. May she find her identity in You alone, knowing that she is deeply loved as Your child. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and the fullness of Your purpose for her life.
We declare Your promises over her, Lord, that she would prosper in all things and be in good health, just as her soul prospers (3 John 1:2). Guard her steps and order them according to Your Word. Let her life be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and transforming power. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your sister with boldness and faith, trusting that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Share the Gospel with her if she does not know Jesus, and remind her of God’s love and desire for her to live a life that honors Him. Stay rooted in Scripture, and let your conversations with her be seasoned with grace and truth. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works" (Hebrews 10:23-24, WEB). Keep standing in the gap for her, and trust that the Lord will bring to completion the good work He has begun in her life.
