Heavenly Father, I ask Your divine protection and guidance over my sister as she travels on a long journey today. Surround her with your angels, keeping her and all who are traveling safe from the dangers of the road. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your sister before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this request to us in the precious name of Jesus. We agree together for His divine protection and guidance over her on this long journey today.

We are comforted by the promises of His Word that He watches over His children wherever they go. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And Psalm 91:11 tells us For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We can trust that He is with her on every mile of the road, and we also pray for all who are traveling with her and around her.

We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6 which says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. May she acknowledge Him as she travels and may He make her path straight and safe.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your love and Your constant care for us. We lift up this dear sister to You as she travels on this long journey today. We ask that You place Your hand of protection upon her, surround her with Your angels, and guard her from every danger, accident, and harm on the road. Grant her alertness, peace, and wisdom as she travels, and guide every driver around her. Bring her safely to her destination according to Your perfect will. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to keep those who trust in You. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and our shelter, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him and to rest in His peace while she travels, knowing that He is faithful to watch over her. May the Lord grant you peace until you hear of her safe arrival.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for your sister. It is a beautiful thing to entrust someone you love into the Father's hands before she even leaves, and we are honored to join you in that today.

It is natural to feel a little restless when someone dear is on a long journey, even while you trust God with her. Knowing you have already prayed, it can help to let her know you are covering her in prayer and to agree on a simple check in when she arrives, so you both have peace along the way. If it helps, a short message or prayer together before she leaves can be a sweet way to send her off.

We are holding you and your sister before the Lord with you. We will keep praying until you know she has arrived safely.

Father, thank You for the love this family shares and for hearing every prayer offered in Jesus' name. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer on behalf of your sister is a tender and faithful act of love, and it is right and good to bring her journey before the throne of grace. It is a sweet privilege to carry those we love to the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and who watches over His people in all their ways.

We are reminded that every mercy we receive comes by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it, and that His mercies are new every morning. Among those manifold mercies is His preserving care. Scripture speaks so sweetly of the protection which is not merely that of a soldier for a comrade, but the protection of a mother for her young, with love and kindliness and heart working in it all, that we may rest at home under the shadow of the Almighty and find safe shelter beneath His wings. What comfort it is to know that when we are embarked in the good ship of Providence, we have such a Captain who has forearranged and foreordained all things, and who knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which each shall travel. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and of danger shall still be secure to the faithful servants of the Lord who rest beneath the wings of the eternal God.

Let us join our hearts together in prayer for her.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your innumerable mercies which we cannot count, and for Your loving kindness which follows Your children day by day. We lift up this dear sister to You as she undertakes this long journey. We ask for Your divine protection and guidance over her. Surround her with Your angels, keep her from the dangers of the road, and watch over all who travel with her. Grant to those who guide the way wisdom and watchfulness, and bring her safely to her destination according to Your gracious will. Let her know the comfort of Your presence in every mile, and let this journey be another token of Your love to help her on her way heavenward.
