Heavenly Father, I ask Your divine protection and guidance over my sister as she travels on a long journey today. Surround her with your angels, keeping her and all who are traveling safe from the dangers of the road. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up your sister before our Heavenly Father today and we thank you for bringing her journey before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.

It is a beautiful and right thing to ask for the Lord's protection over those we love when they travel, and we rejoice that you have asked this in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5.

We take comfort in the promises of God's watchful care over His children. He is our keeper and He never slumbers. The psalmist declares, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. And again, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. We can trust that whether on a long road or in any circumstance, His hand is upon those who belong to Him.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You for Your love and mercy that endures forever. We lift up this dear sister to You as she travels on her long journey today. Lord, we ask for Your divine hand of protection to be upon her and upon all who travel with her. Guide the hands of those who drive, grant clarity and alertness, and keep them safe from the dangers and perils of the road, from accident, from harm, and from any evil intent. Surround her vehicle with Your angels and let Your peace rest upon her heart so that she may travel without fear or anxiety. We ask that You would bring her safely to her destination according to Your perfect will, and that she would feel Your presence with her every mile of the way. As Your Word says, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won't stumble, Proverbs 3:23. Let this be true for her today. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to keep Your children. We entrust her into Your loving care and give You all the glory for her safe return, in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord's sovereignty and to rest in His peace while she is away. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over her still. May the Lord grant you also peace as you wait, knowing she is in His hands.

Thank you for bringing your sister before the Lord so tenderly. It is a beautiful thing to watch someone you love head out on a long road and to place her directly in the Father's hands.

We hear your care in every line of your prayer, and we join you in entrusting her journey to Him. When we cannot ride along, it helps to know the One who goes with her does not grow tired or distracted, and that He hears the prayers of those who love her.

It can be encouraging to let her know you prayed for her today, and to agree on a simple check in when she arrives. That small connection often brings peace to both the traveler and those waiting at home. We will keep holding her up with you today, grateful for the love you show as her sibling and for the Father who watches over both of you.

Father, we lift this sister to You as she travels today. We ask for Your watchful care over her and all who share the road with her. Grant her alertness, calm and Your guidance mile by mile, and bring her safely to where she is going. Thank You for Your faithful love for her and for the one who prayed for her. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. How good and right it is to commit your sister into the hands of the Lord as she undertakes this long journey, and to do so in the precious name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father and every mercy we receive bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood.

We join you in this prayer and would have you be comforted by that sure shelter of which the Psalmist speaks, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. It is not only protection from danger that our God vouchsafes, but a sense of home and nearness under the shadow of the Almighty. When we walk aright we seek His protection before we venture upon the way, and blessed be His name, to rest beneath the wings of the eternal God is to be safe indeed. Though the road has its perils, the man that rests in God finds His protection wonderfully spread over him.

Think also of the good ship of Providence with such a Captain at the helm who has forearranged all things from the beginning even unto the end. No earthly captain can promise an absolutely safe passage, but our Lord can and does keep His own. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and of danger shall still be secure to the faithful servants of the Lord who put implicit confidence in His guidance.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for all Thy innumerable mercies which are new every morning, and for the sure mercies which are ours in Christ Jesus. In the name of Thy Son our Saviour we ask Thy divine protection and guidance over this dear sister as she travels. Surround her with Thy presence, give charge to Thy angels concerning her, and keep her and all who travel with her safe from the dangers of the road. Grant her a peaceful journey and a safe arrival according to Thy gracious will, and let her know Thy nearness all the way. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
