We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear sister who is battling pancreatic cancer. We stand in the gap for her, crying out to our Heavenly Father who sees her pain and knows her suffering. The Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We declare that God is near to her in this nursing home, even when the weight of this illness feels unbearable.
Father, we ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell in her body. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over her life today. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for complete healing—restore her strength, ease her pain, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also lift up the emotional weight you are carrying, dear one. Watching a loved one suffer is one of the deepest sorrows we can endure. Jesus wept with Mary and Martha at the tomb of Lazarus, showing us that He enters into our grief. We pray that you would feel His presence holding you up, giving you strength for each moment. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
If your sister has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the hope of the Gospel with her. This life is temporary, but eternity is forever. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no greater gift than the assurance of salvation through faith in Him. If she has already surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that she would feel the comfort of His promises, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm both of you. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life over her body and peace over her soul.
Lord, we also ask for wisdom and compassion for the caregivers in the nursing home. Give them patience, kindness, and the strength to provide the best care possible. Surround your sister with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel Your love in tangible ways—through the kindness of others, through moments of joy, and through the assurance that she is never alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who conquered sin and death so that we might have eternal life. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear sister during this heart-wrenching time. Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted her up, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap her in His peace, to ease her pain, and to draw near to both of you in this season of trial. We have prayed fervently for her comfort, for strength for you as you sit by her side, and for God’s healing touch—whether through His miraculous power or through the gentle release of His perfect peace.

There is nothing that stirs our faith and glorifies Him more than witnessing His faithfulness firsthand.
