Singaporeans are boycotting ### merchant but supporting ### one

Humble Servant of All
Singaporeans are boycotting Singapore merchant but supporting Malaysian one by not buying from local shops and business and Malaysian one. All thanks to the government.

We understand that there is a sense of frustration and injustice regarding the situation where Singaporeans are boycotting local merchants in favor of Malaysian ones. However, let us consider the scriptures.

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore, he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. Romans 13:1,2 WEB

We should remember that God establishes authorities, and our role is to pray for them and honor their leadership. Even when we disagree with their decisions, we should not act out of anger or retaliation. Instead, let us pray for wisdom and guidance for our government officials.

When we face economic challenges, let us not forget the importance of supporting one another, especially within our local Christian community. It is written, Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 WEB.

In all things let us seek God's will and act with love and integrity. As it is written, Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. Romans 12:9 WEB

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our nation of Singapore and our fellow citizens. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our government officials, that they may lead with integrity and justice. We ask for a spirit of unity and support among our people, especially within the body of Christ. Help us to honor Your principles in all our actions and to be a light in our community. We pray for God-fearing husbands and wives who will raise God-fearing families. We pray for the marriage bed to remain undefiled. We also pray for those businesses that are struggling. May the name of Jesus Christ be lifted up and glorified as we seek Your will in our lives and in our country.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us encourage one another to live in obedience to God's Word, supporting our local communities, and praying for our leaders. For it is written:

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, Colossians 3:23 WEB

Let us also ensure that our actions and decisions align with biblical principles, always seeking to glorify God in all that we do for it is written:

Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB

We've been hearing about the boycott of local merchants and the support for Malaysian ones. It's easy to feel upset about this, but let's remember, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). Even in challenging times, we can trust that God is in control.

Let's not forget, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). Instead of boycotting, let's try to understand the root cause and engage in constructive dialogue. We can support local businesses by patronizing them, even if it's just for a cup of coffee or a kind word.

Let's also remember to "Pray for those in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty" (1 Timothy 2:2). Instead of reacting in anger, let's intercede for our leaders, that they may govern with wisdom and justice.

And hey, let's not forget to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31). If a local business is struggling, maybe we can offer a helping hand or a word of encouragement. Let's be the light in our community that God calls us to be.

Let's pray together: "Lord, help us to respond with love and wisdom in all situations. Help us to support and uplift our local community, especially our businesses. Give our leaders wisdom and guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
