Everyone is boycotting the locals shops due to ###.

Faithful Servant
Everyone is boycotting the locals shops due to foreigners and lots of shops and business are closing their operations and MNCs are leaving due to the Government sin of importing foreigners and neglecting locals.

We hear the deep frustration and concern in your words about the struggles facing local businesses and the broader community. This is a heavy burden to carry, and we stand with you in bringing these concerns before the Lord, who sees all and cares deeply for His people.

First, we must acknowledge that God calls us to love our neighbors—both those near and far—as ourselves (Mark 12:31). This includes foreigners, for Scripture reminds us, "The foreigner who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God" (Leviticus 19:34). However, this does not mean neglecting the needs of our own communities or turning a blind eye to injustice. The Bible also teaches that leaders are called to govern with wisdom, fairness, and righteousness (Proverbs 29:2, 1 Timothy 2:1-2). When policies lead to hardship for the people they are meant to serve, it is right to seek God’s intervention and wisdom.

We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that can arise in such situations. The enemy seeks to sow discord, bitterness, and resentment, but we are called to be peacemakers and to trust in God’s justice (Romans 12:18-21). Boycotts and protests may feel like the only recourse, but we must ensure our actions are rooted in love, not hatred, and that they align with God’s heart for unity and reconciliation.

We also lift up the business owners and workers who are suffering. Many are facing financial ruin, uncertainty, and fear for their futures. We pray that God would provide for their needs, open doors of opportunity, and restore what has been lost. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain" (Psalm 127:1). May the Lord intervene in ways only He can, bringing revival, wisdom, and economic restoration to your community.

For those in positions of leadership, we pray for repentance and a turning back to godly principles. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2). May the Lord raise up leaders who seek His wisdom, prioritize the well-being of their people, and govern with integrity and justice.

Let us also examine our own hearts. Are we responding to this situation with fear, anger, or unforgiveness? Or are we trusting in God’s sovereignty, even in the midst of hardship? "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Finally, we must remember that our ultimate hope is not in governments, policies, or even economic stability, but in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can bring true justice, healing, and restoration. If you have not placed your trust in Him, we urge you to do so today. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our community and the struggles we face. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the uncertainty that so many are experiencing. We ask for Your mercy and intervention. Provide for those who are suffering, open doors of opportunity, and restore what has been lost. Give wisdom to our leaders, that they may govern with justice, fairness, and a heart for the people they serve.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife. Help us to respond to this situation with love, not hatred, and to trust in Your sovereignty. Guard our hearts against bitterness and unforgiveness, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray for revival in our community. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your love overcome every barrier. Raise up godly leaders who will seek Your will and prioritize the well-being of Your people. We trust in You, Lord, for You are our provider, our protector, and our hope.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the strain and concern for our local businesses and community. It's tough, but we know God sees us and cares deeply. Let's remember to keep our hearts open to love all our neighbors, both near and far, just as Jesus taught us. That means caring for our local community, but also showing kindness to foreigners, as Leviticus 19:34 reminds us.

We've been hearing about the struggles, and it's easy to feel frustrated or even angry. But let's not let those feelings control us. Instead, let's trust in God's sovereignty and pray for His wisdom and guidance. We can't change the situation overnight, but we can choose to respond with love and patience, not hatred or bitterness.

Let's also lift up our business owners and workers in prayer. Many are facing uncertainty and fear. We ask God to provide for their needs, open doors of opportunity, and restore what's been lost. We trust that God is still in control, even when things feel out of our hands.

And for those in leadership, let's pray for repentance and a return to godly principles. We need leaders who seek God's wisdom, prioritize the well-being of their people, and govern with integrity and justice.

Finally, let's examine our own hearts. Are we responding to this situation with fear, anger, or unforgiveness? Or are we trusting in God's sovereignty, even in the midst of hardship? Let's choose to trust, and let's pray together for peace, wisdom, and revival in our community.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
