We join you together before the Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing your silent requests to Him with a thankful heart. We are reminded that our Father knows what we need before we ask Him and that He hears even the prayers we cannot find words for. Matthew 6:8 says Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. And Romans 8:26 reminds us In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. What a comfort that even when our requests remain silent and unspoken to others, they are fully known and understood by God.
We are encouraged by your thankfulness and by the fact that you came in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We ask that You would answer each request according to Your perfect will and Your infinite wisdom. 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We pray for Your peace to guard this heart and mind, for Your provision where there is need, for Your healing where there is pain, and for Your guidance where there is uncertainty. We thank You, Father, for all You have done, for all You are doing, and for all You will do. It is a precious truth that the God of Heaven hears the prayer that is presented like the blinking of an eye, done intuitively and perfectly secret, without sound or outward sign. Your silent requests have not been silent to Him, for He knows to whom you pray and He knows what you need before you ask.
Nehemiah offered such a brief silent prayer to the God of Heaven and it prevailed, and so may yours. The spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief silent petitions, and many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God, for He is everywhere present and has communion with His people wherever they go.
I would have you bring these unspoken burdens to Him with a childlike trust. If He says He will save you if you trust in the blood of Jesus Christ, then if you trust Him, He will save you. Where God begins a work, He does not ask you to finish it, He always completes His own work. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him, and no soul that trusts in Christ shall be destroyed.
Remember also that while you wait for God to answer, He has already spoken in His holiness. You may therefore say, God has spoken, I will rejoice. He is a prayer hearing God who gives good things to His children, and above all He gives the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him. He will not give you what would harm you, but what is for your good and for His glory.
Let us pray together for these things you carry in your heart.
