We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the throne of grace.
We are encouraged by your trust that the Father hears even what is unspoken. Scripture reminds us that He knows our hearts intimately and hears what we cannot fully express. Psalm 139:1-4 tells us that the Lord searches us and knows us, and that even before a word is on our tongue, He knows it altogether. Matthew 6:8 assures us that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. And when burdens are too deep for words, Romans 8:26-27 comforts us that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind.
We do not need to have perfect words, for we can come with confidence that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us, as 1 John 5:14 teaches, and He invites us to make our requests known to Him with thanksgiving, as we see in Philippians 4:6-7, and His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray together for you now.
Father, we lift up every silent and unspoken request represented here. You see each heart, each need, each burden and each hope that has not been voiced. We ask that Your perfect will be done in each situation and that You would answer according to Your wisdom, mercy and love. Grant peace where there is anxiety, provision where there is need, healing where there is brokenness, and guidance where there is uncertainty. Help us to trust You more deeply and to rest in Your goodness, knowing You work all things together for good for those who love You. We thank You, Father, for all You have done, all You are doing, and all You will do. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
