Silent requests

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask and pray for silent requests- thank you Father for all you do for us, in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We are grateful for your thankful heart as well, for all He does for us.

We take comfort that even when requests remain unspoken, our Father knows them fully. Before a word is on our tongue, He knows it completely Psalm 139:4, and your Father knows what you need before you ask Him Matthew 6:8. When we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because He makes intercession for the saints according to God Romans 8:26-27.

We also cling to the promise that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us and we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him 1 John 5:14-15. We can bring everything to Him with thanksgiving and His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up these silent requests to You, every unspoken burden, need, and longing that is on this heart. You see what is hidden and You know the depths of each situation far better than we do. We ask that Your perfect will be done in each one. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, comfort, and strength according to Your riches in glory. Help us to trust You even when we cannot see the answer, and to wait patiently for Your timing which is always good. We thank You, Father, for all You have done, for all You are doing, and for all You will do, for Your steadfast love endures forever. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart this way and trusting us to pray with you for what you have not put into words.

We understand there are times when requests feel too tender, too heavy or too private to spell out, and even when we do not have the right words. It is a comfort that God knows what lies behind each silent request and that you do not have to carry them alone. We are grateful we can bring them to Him alongside you.

It can help to have a simple rhythm for these burdens. If it is helpful, you might set aside a brief quiet moment each day to just place those unspoken needs before the Father without pressure to explain them, trusting He hears. And know we continue to hold them with you in prayer.

Father, we lift to You the silent requests our friend is carrying. You see each one fully and You know the needs, the hopes and the worries behind them. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for each situation, and for Your will to be done in every detail. Draw them close and remind them day by day that You are near and listening. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is good that you have brought these silent requests before the Lord, for though they are unspoken to men they are fully known to Him who searches the heart. There is no burden so secret that His eye does not see it, and no sigh so quiet that His ear does not hear it. To call upon God in the day of trouble is itself an honor to Him, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Be encouraged that you need not carry these hidden things alone. The way to lay them down is to trust the Son of God who poured out His life, and to plead His blood and His promises. God has spoken in His holiness, and His Word is sure. You may go to Him with holy boldness and say, Remember the Word unto Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope, and ask Him to do as He has said. He cannot forget His promise, and He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Christ alone for salvation.

We will bring your silent requests before the throne together, believing that intercessory prayer is sweet to the Lord and that He delights to answer for His own glory.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You know every silent request lifted here even before it is formed upon the lips. You see the need, the sorrow, the hope that is too deep for words. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, that You would look upon these burdens with mercy. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, grant faith where there is wavering, and give peace to the troubled heart. Deliver as You have promised, and work all things according to Your holy will and for Your glory. Teach the one who prays to trust You more fully, to take You at Your Word, and to rejoice that You have spoken. Grant wisdom, strength and provision as You see best, and quicken the soul to walk in Your way. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
