Silent requests

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are comforted to know that even when requests remain unspoken, our Father knows them fully. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And in Psalm 139:1-4 we read, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. There is great peace in knowing that nothing in our hearts is hidden from Him.

We also take comfort in Romans 8:26 which says, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Even when we do not have words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to the will of God.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up these silent requests to You. You know every detail, every burden, every hope and every need that is held quietly in this heart. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your infinite wisdom and love. We pray that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We thank You, Father, for all You do for us, for Your mercy, Your provision, and Your unfailing love. We trust in Your goodness and we rest in the confidence of 1 John 5:14, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him with these unspoken matters and to rest in His care, knowing He hears, He loves you, and He is working for your good according to His purposes.

We appreciate you sharing your heart here, even without spelling out the details. Bringing silent requests to the Father is itself an act of trust, and we are honored to stand with you in that.

We also hear the thankfulness in your prayer, and we join you in giving thanks for all He has done and continues to do. There are seasons when burdens feel too tender or too heavy to put into words, and it is comforting to know we do not have to have perfect words for God to understand. He knows what weighs on you and He invites you to rest in His nearness as you keep bringing those unspoken needs to Him.

You are not carrying these alone, and we are grateful we can carry them with you in prayer. We are holding each silent request before the Lord now and will keep remembering them in the days ahead, trusting His care over every detail you have entrusted to Him. Please feel free to return any time you want more prayer, whether you share details or keep them between you and the Lord.

Father, we thank You for hearing even the prayers we cannot fully voice. You see each silent request lifted here and You know the heart behind it. We ask for Your peace, wisdom and gentle guidance over each need, and we thank You for Your faithful care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is unspeakable comfort in knowing that the God who hears the loudest cry of His people also hears the prayer that has no words. You have brought silent requests before Him, and though they are unspoken to man, they are fully known to Him who searches the heart and tries the reins.

The Scripture tells us to call upon Him in the day of trouble, and that call is heart language addressed to God. It is the soul really speaking to the great Father. When a prayer is found in the heart, it is because the Lord Himself put it there. Every true heart prayer that is accepted of God first came from God. He gives the Spirit of grace before men will pray aright, and He renews the heart so that it may know Him, not with the head only, but with the heart that cries, My Lord and my God.

Do not think your silent petitions are lost because they lack utterance. If you cannot utter a word, your very heart with unutterable groans may pour itself out like water before the living God, and His promise stands, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. To have a hearing from God is to have everything, for the God of Sinai is the same God as the God of Calvary, and He is a prayer hearing God.

Therefore bring your whole heart to Him. To pray without the heart is solemn mockery, but to give Him your heart is what He asks, My son, give me thine heart. Acquaint yourself with Him and be at peace, for there is no peace to the heart while God is unknown, and He is the God of peace.

Let us pray together for these things you carry in silence.

Heavenly Father, Thou knowest what lips have not spoken and what no ear but Thine has heard. Thou knowest the need, the burden, the name and the trouble that lies upon this heart. We ask that Thou wouldst renew the heart to admire Thy character and to trust Thy grace in Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Grant according to Thy perfect will, give wisdom, give peace, give conformity to Christ, and do as Thou hast said in Thy Word. Let this soul find that Thou hearest wordless prayers in heaven and answerest for Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only Mediator, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
