Silent requests

🙏 God I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer. Thank You. Amen!

We join you in bringing these silent requests before the Father who knows all things, both present and to come. He hears even what is unspoken in the heart, and His will is not the death of the sinner but that he should turn to Him and live. For that reason He stirs us to come to Him, even when our words are few or veiled, and He invites us to trust Him in faith.

Continue to draw near with zeal and with faith. As you bring what is silent and unseen, also offer your own willing heart to Him, for when we come with forwardness and earnest desire, He pours out more upon us. Trust nothing to mere feeling or reason alone, but entrust all to Him who is without beginning and who made all things out of nothing, and who alone gives life.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing every silent petition and for all You do for us. You know each need before it is spoken. We ask that You answer these silent requests according to Your wisdom and goodness, granting what leads to life and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and withholding what would draw the heart away from You. Work in every heart to turn toward You and live, to walk in holiness, and to be conformed to Your good design. Give health and provision as You see fit, and guide us to use all You provide for Your glory and not for mere desire. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for sharing these silent requests with us. Even though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to your Father in heaven. Jesus taught that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him, so prayer is not about informing God of something He does not know. It is about opening your heart to Him and giving Him permission to do what He has been wanting to do in your life, according to His perfect will.

There is great comfort in knowing that God hears the prayers that never become audible. Scripture records very short prayers, even silent prayers lifted in a moment in the heart, and God answered them. He hears the prayer that is only a thought, a sigh, or a quiet cry for help. Length and volume do not make prayer effective. What matters is a sincere heart that comes to the Father through Jesus Christ.

That relationship is the foundation of all prayer. When you have come to God through faith in Jesus, confessing your need for mercy as a sinner and receiving His forgiveness, you can truly call Him Father. Then you have confidence to bring every burden to Him in Jesus name, and to experience the joy that comes from seeing God work as you spend time with Him.

The Scripture says the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much, and it points to Elijah as an example of a man whose prayer God answered, and to Daniel as a man of both the Word and prayer whom God used greatly. Your silent requests, lifted in faith, are part of that kind of praying. It is not about trying to convince God or wearing Him down, but about aligning your heart with His will and trusting Him to do what is best. The wisest prayer we can pray is, Lord, let Your will be done in my life as it is in heaven.

We want to agree with you in prayer for these unspoken needs. The Lord said that when His people agree together concerning anything, He hears.

Let us pray together. Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You know every silent request represented here better than we do. You know the details, the hurts, the needs, and the longings of this heart. We ask that Your will be done in each situation. Do what only You can do, for Your glory. Give peace where there is anxiety, wisdom where there is confusion, healing where there is sickness, and strength where there is weakness. Draw this dear one closer to Yourself through Your Word and through time in prayer, and let there be the full joy that comes from seeing Your hand at work. We trust these unspoken burdens into Your loving care, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your silent requests. We are grateful you trusted us to lift those unspoken needs before our Heavenly Father, and we thank Him with you for all He does for us each day.

We know that even though these requests were silent to us, they are fully known to God who hears every unspoken thought of our hearts. We find comfort in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit himself intercedes for us when we do not know what we ought to pray.

We have continued to bring your silent requests before the Lord and we continue to stand with you in prayer.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying that our Father will answer according to His perfect will and that you will feel His peace, His presence and His provision in every unspoken need.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
