We join you in lifting up the silent requests before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He knows the deepest desires and needs of every heart. It is a comfort to know that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express, particularly when we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (WEB Romans 8:26)
Firstly, we praise God for His unfailing love and faithfulness. Let us remember that our Heavenly Father cares for us and desires to give us good gifts. Just as a good father would not give his child a stone when asking for bread, nor a snake when asking for a fish, our Heavenly Father knows how to give good gifts to those who ask Him. (WEB Matthew 7:7-11)
As we pray, let us also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As Jesus Himself said, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full (WEB John 16:23-24). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life no one comes to the Father except through Him (WEB John 14:6). There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved (WEB Acts 4:12).
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up the silent requests of those in need. We trust that You know the deepest desires and needs of every heart, and that Your love and faithfulness are unfailing. We ask that You would grant the petitions of Your people, and we thank You for all the good things that You have prepared for those who love You.
Thank You that we can come to you in Jesus Christ. We pray that we remember to always come in His name, as it is through Jesus that we have access to You. We pray that if anyone is praying and does not know Jesus as their savior, then give them a hunger and thirst to know Him. Let them know how much they need Jesus for forgiveness of sins and to be reconciled to you. Let them come to know Jesus in a personal way as their own Savior.
We ask this in Jesus' name
Amen.
We encourage all to be a people that continually pray, not giving up heart, and to continue to seek Jesus.
