Your silent requests are before the Lord and He knows what is unspoken. We join you in bringing them to Him and in asking for His protection over you.
Scripture reminds us that we can make all kinds of preparation for trouble, yet true safety comes from the Lord alone. Unless the Lord guards the home and the city, our own watching and working is in vain. That does not mean we are careless, but it means our trust is not in our own plans or strength, but in Him.
There is a place of safety found in abiding in Christ. When you remain in Him, He Himself is your defense and your covering. Even when opposition comes, you do not need to be afraid, for He keeps those who belong to Him.
We also remember that prayer is not to make God grant our wishes, but to bring our hearts into agreement with His will. He does great and unsearchable things, He lifts up those who are low and brings those who mourn into a place of safety, and He hears according to His perfect wisdom and love.
So we pray with you now. Heavenly Father, You know every silent need lifted here. You see every heart and every circumstance that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that Your will be done in each one, and that You would give peace, wisdom, and provision as You see best. We ask for Your protection over this life and household, that You would keep and guard and cause Your blessing to rest there as they abide in Christ. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.
