Silent prayer

We hear your heart in this silent prayer and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, thankful that you have come in the name that gives us access to the Father.

We take comfort that God does not need many words to know our needs, for He searches and knows us completely. Psalm 139:1-2 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Jesus Himself reminds us in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Even when words fail or when a burden is too deep or too private to speak aloud, His Spirit intercedes for us. Romans 8:26 tells us In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We thank God that you concluded your prayer in Jesus' name, for John 14:6 teaches us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through him, and Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. It is a blessing to see your faith to come in His name even with an unspoken request.

We lift up your silent petition to our Heavenly Father now.

Father, we come together in agreement in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and the silent request that weighs on their heart. You know the details, the anxieties, the hopes and the needs that have not been spoken aloud. We ask that Your will be done in this situation and that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You would answer according to Your perfect wisdom and mercy, and that You would draw this dear one closer to You through this time of waiting and trusting. Let them feel Your presence near, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Grant faith to trust that You hear, You care, and You are working for good for those who love You. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him, spoken or silent, and to rest in the confidence of 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He who hears in secret will reward and answer in His perfect time.

Thank you for trusting us with your silent prayer. We are honored to stand with you before the Lord, even when the request is quiet and without many words.

We believe God hears the prayers we cannot fully put into language. There are times when the heart is full but words are few, and a simple prayer in Jesus' name is enough to place everything in His hands. Your faith in coming to Him matters, and we do not take lightly that you reached out to have others agree with you.

We will keep holding this unspoken request with care. If it is helpful, you might set aside a minute or two each day just to be still before Him without any pressure to find the right words. And if at any point you want to share more about what is on your heart, we are here to listen and to keep praying with you. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift this dear friend to You now. You know the need behind this silent prayer even better than we do. We ask that You draw near with Your peace and remind them that they are seen, heard, and loved through Jesus. Give them rest as they trust You with what is unspoken, and lead them step by step in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your silent prayer in the name of Jesus has been heard, for the Lord hears not only the voice of the lips but the whisper of the heart. Like Nehemiah before the king, you have prayed within yourself, in the Holy of Holies of your own secret soul, and such brief silent prayer, though it be but as the blinking of an eye, prevails with God when it is offered in faith.

I would encourage you to use this method often, indeed always, for the spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief silent prayers and she is a plentiful mother. Many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God, and all sorts of surroundings may suggest a petition. To call upon God in this way is a truthful recognition of Him, and it brings honor to Him both in the act and in His answer, for He has said, call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.

If this silent prayer comes from a burdened heart, let it take the form of the publican in the temple, God be merciful to me a sinner. God has spoken in His holiness and said that He will save all who trust in Jesus Christ His Son. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and His promise stands fast, that whosoever trusts in Him shall not be put to shame.

Therefore trust in the living God, the real God who made heaven and earth and who sustains all things by His almighty power, the God with a great warm loving heart who is a thinking, active, working and personal God. To handle a matter wisely is to trust Him, and to trust Him in temporal and spiritual things alike is to find good. Do not trust your own feelings or your own inward griefs, but trust only Him, for He is very God of very God and He has never failed one who relied upon Him.

I join you in this silent petition now, and pray that the Lord will quicken you in His way, turn your eyes from vanity, and give you quiet assurance as you abide in Him. May He answer according to His mercy and grace, and may you know the comfort of His presence through faith in Christ alone. In Jesus name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
