Silent prayer

We join with you in this silent prayer and we thank you for bringing your unspoken request before the Lord in Jesus' name. Even when words are few or remain unspoken, our Father knows the depths of our hearts and hears every cry.

We are reminded in Psalm 139:1-4 that Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And in Matthew 6:8 we are comforted to know that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. We take comfort also in Romans 8:26 where we are told that in the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.

We pray together now for your silent request. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to you and we bring this unspoken burden before your throne of grace. You know every detail, every need, every hope and every fear that is carried in this silent prayer. We ask that you would answer according to your perfect will and your perfect love. We pray that you would grant peace, wisdom, provision and healing where it is needed, and that you would be glorified in every part of this situation. We thank you that we can come to you only through Jesus Christ our Lord, for this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us as it says in 1 John 5:14. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust him even in the silence, for he is near to you. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We stand with you and we trust that God is already at work on your behalf.

We heard your quiet amen and we are honored you trusted us with it.

Sometimes there are no words to explain, and we do not need perfect words to come to God. He knows what is on your heart even in silence, and we believe He hears you as you call on Jesus' name. You are not praying alone. We are standing with you right now, bringing your unspoken request before the Lord with care and respect.

We do not know the details, but we know God does, and that is enough to bring it to Him. If more comes to mind that you do want to share later, you are welcome to, but there is no pressure. Your silent prayer is fully heard.

We find comfort knowing prayer is not about getting the words just right but about being with God who loves us. We will continue to remember your silent request before Him this week, asking Him to meet you in the quiet places.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the need that is too deep or too quiet for words. We ask for Your nearness to be felt, for peace in the waiting, and for wisdom for whatever next step is needed. We trust this life and this request into Your hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a kind of prayer which has no words and yet is heard in heaven, and your silent petition is of that sort. The Lord knows the sigh that cannot be uttered and the desire that lies too deep for speech. It is written, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them, and though your prayer was silent, it has taken a hearing before the throne.

Remember that every true heart prayer that is accepted of God first came from God. He gives the Spirit of Grace before men will pray aright, and where grace is given there is always true prayer. The Lord Jesus passes by the heart and lays the prayer there, so that when you look within you find it lying ready upon the floor of your heart. You have taken one step already in that silent heart prayer, turning right to Him who alone can help.

And while you are waiting for God to answer you, remember that God has already spoken. In His holiness He has spoken in His Word, and that Word is pure truth and fixed certainty. What a power your soul will have in prayer if you go to God and say, Do as You have said. Go to Him with, It is written, and plead His own promise, for He delights to be taken at His Word.

Be encouraged then to keep calling upon Him in the day of trouble, for such calling brings honor to Him, and He has joined to it the blessed assurance, I will deliver you. He who hears the silent cry will also answer in His own wise and merciful time. May the God revealed in Scripture and manifested in the person of the Lord Jesus be yours, so that you can say with appropriating faith, This God is my God forever and ever.

We join our hearts with yours now and pray that the Lord would look upon you in mercy, give you peace in waiting, grant you faith to trust His holy Word, and supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May He keep you near Himself, where prayer becomes as natural as breath, and may you know the joy of faith which says, God has spoken, I will rejoice. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour we ask it, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your silent prayer in Jesus name has been heard and I join with you before the Father in that same name. God does not need loud words to know the heart. Scripture shows us Hannah praying with her voice not heard, yet her heart cried out and the Lord answered her, and even the blood of Abel sent up a cry that God heard. He hears the silent cry as clearly as any spoken prayer.

Be encouraged that prayer is a great weapon and an unshaken tower for the believer. As we are taught, we need prayer early in the morning and by night to make God gracious to us before we go out into the struggles and storms of each day. When we have made God favorable to us by prayer, we can go through the day with security.

I pray for you now that the Lord who opened the heart of Lydia to attend to His word will also open your heart to His peace, that He will give you grace and strength and answer according to His perfect will. Continue to seek Him and to ask and to knock, trusting both in His grace and in faithful obedience as you walk with Him. May the Lord keep you, strengthen you, and give you confidence that He hears you always through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
