We understand your heart to lift up silent, unspoken needs before the Lord, and we join you in bringing these before His throne. The Bible reminds us in **Romans 8:26-27 (WEB)**, *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God."*
While we don’t know the specifics of what weighs on your heart, we know that God does. He hears even the cries we cannot put into words, and His Spirit intercedes for us perfectly. Yet, we must also remember that our access to the Father is *only* through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other way to approach God’s throne. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
If your silent needs include struggles, sins, or burdens you haven’t voiced, we urge you to bring them specifically before the Lord in repentance and faith. Perhaps your silent need is for a godly spouse, healing in a marriage, deliverance from temptation, or wisdom in a difficult decision. Whatever it may be, we pray that you would trust God’s timing and sovereignty. If your need involves relationships, we remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory. Any relationship outside of this design—whether premarital intimacy, same-sex relationships, or emotional attachments that dishonor marriage—must be repented of and surrendered to Christ. **Hebrews 13:4 (WEB)** states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."*
We also encourage you to speak your needs aloud to the Lord. He already knows them, but there is power in voicing our dependence on Him. **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
