Signs of Redemption (Not Dates): Deception, Wars, Potential Conflicts, Famines, Earthquakes, Do Not Be Alarmed, Beginning of Birth Pangs, Matt 24:4-8

Beloved of All
Father, we thank You that even in events like these You are still Our Refuge, Strength, and Ever-Present Help in Times of Trouble, therefore we will not fear, though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, Ps 46:1-3. Protect the young, women, injured and elderly -- raise up laborers and send them out into this time when people need THE LOVE OF GOD, The Good News, miracles, resurrections, gifts of healing, salvation, wisdom, edification, comfort, gifts of mercy, faith and exhortation... Medical teams... Lead them NOT int temptation but DELIVER them from evil, Matt 6:13... Joseph-like administrators of food, water, supplies and finances -- as well as not neglecting the Word of God to serve tables, Acts 6:2-6.

Prepare us all for storms of life, and even worse -- wars, famines, so we are not weakened or stumble in our faith but grow CLOSER to JESUS, are emboldened to pray, preach, heal the sick, cast out demons, prophesy of Christ's return, Rev 19:10... Lord prepare, provide for and send out laborers, Matt 9:35-36, 37-38, and help people get ready by hearing The Sermon on The Mount and PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE are like wise people who build their houses on The Rock so when rain and torrents rage and gush and blow we do not fall because we have a proper foundation, Matt 7:24-25, 1 Cor 3:11, because what Jesus says about enduring to the end to be saved IS A REAL WARNING and specifically in context to preaching the Gospel throughout the world as we've all been assigned, each to varying degrees, Matt 24:13-14, c.f. Matt 28:18-19, 20; Mark 16:15-17, Luke 24:46-67, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

"Jesus answered, 'See to it that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, claiming, "I am the Christ," and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 THEN they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, 11 and many false prophets will arise and deceive many. 12 Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13 But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and THEN the end will come.'" Matt 24:4-14.

Father, help prepare us, the church, the world, to buckle our seatbelts, pray and not count on an escape clause that exempts us from everything Jesus and the Apostles went through and warned us of in advance... Matt 24:4-8. Birth pangs. Help us redeem the time, stop playing, agree with Your Spirit in getting holy and preach and witness to everyone, 2 Tim 3:16-4:5, praying for everyone, 1 Tim 2:1-5, Eph 6:18-20... God bless in Jesus' Name...

We join with you in this prayer and we agree together before the Father that even as we see these signs we will not fear, for You are our refuge and strength.

We thank You with the psalmist that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas Ps 46:1-3. We take to heart the words of our Lord Jesus when He said, See that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places, but all these things are the beginning of birth pains Matt 24:4-8. We hear Your warning not to be deceived and not to be alarmed, and we also hear Your call to watch and to endure.

We agree that no one should be setting dates, for Jesus Himself said concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only Matt 24:36, and instead we are to redeem the time because the days are evil Eph 5:16 and to be ready, building our lives on the Rock by hearing Your words and doing them Matt 7:24-25, for no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ 1 Cor 3:11.

Father, we lift up the vulnerable before You in these birth pangs, the young, women, the injured and the elderly, those caught in wars and famines and earthquakes. We ask You to protect them and to deliver them from evil as You taught us to pray Matt 6:13. We ask You to raise up laborers for this harvest, for the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few Matt 9:37-38. We pray that You would thrust out laborers into Your harvest, medical teams, those with gifts of healing and mercy and faith, those who prophesy and exhort and comfort, those who preach the Good News of salvation, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy Rev 19:10. We pray for Joseph-like administrators full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit who can steward food and water and supplies and finances with integrity, and we pray for those who minister the Word that they would not neglect prayer and the ministry of the Word to serve tables but that both needs would be met in good order Acts 6:2-4.

We pray that You would prepare us, Your church, not with a false expectation that we will be exempt from all hardship, but with holy boldness to endure. Your Word warns that because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end will be saved Matt 24:12-13, and that this Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come Matt 24:14. So make us faithful witnesses, as it is written you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses Acts 1:8, to go and make disciples of all nations Matt 28:19 and to preach the Good News to every creature Mark 16:15. We ask that You embolden us to pray, to preach, to heal the sick, to cast out demons, and to proclaim that Jesus is coming again.

We pray that You would help us to be doers of the Sermon on the Mount and not hearers only, so that when the rain descends and the floods come and the winds blow, our house will not fall. We pray that we would not stumble or grow cold, but that we would grow closer to Jesus through every storm of life, and that Your peace which surpasses all understanding would guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7 as we make our requests known to You Phil 4:6.

We thank You that when these things begin to happen we can look up and lift up our heads, because our redemption is drawing near Luke 21:28. We choose now to be sober, to watch and pray always Mark 13:33, to be holy as You are holy, to preach the Word in season and out of season and to pray for all people 1 Tim 2:1-4 with all perseverance and requests in the Spirit Eph 6:18. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him alone we have access to You. Amen.

We appreciate the way you are praying not just for yourself but for the young, the elderly, those who are vulnerable, and for workers to bring help and hope where it is needed most. It is a steady, loving way to respond when headlines feel overwhelming, and we join you in it.

What you named about not being alarmed really stayed with us. Not being alarmed does not mean we pretend nothing is happening. It means we have a place to stand when shaking comes. That steadiness is not built in a moment. One helpful way to think about it is training for a marathon rather than trying to run one without preparation. Small, regular ways of staying close to Jesus over time, in the Word, in prayer, in worship with other believers, slowly form a foundation that holds when storms come. That daily walking matters more than waiting for a single powerful experience to carry us.

If it helps, you might choose one simple next step to live this out this week. Perhaps set aside a brief, consistent time each day to be in Scripture and prayer, and share that burden with a few trusted believers in your local church so you can pray and serve together as laborers in your own community.

Father, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength. We ask You to guard the vulnerable, to raise up and equip those who bring practical help and the good news of Jesus, and to keep us close to Christ and to one another as we walk through uncertain days. Give us wisdom, calm hearts and love for our neighbors. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your healing power. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It is good that you have taken the very words of our Lord Jesus upon your lips, for He said, See to it that no one deceives you, and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, see to it that you are not alarmed, and all these are the beginning of birth pains. You have prayed as one who both trembles and trusts, and that is no strange condition for a child of God.

There are times when fear and faith go hand in hand together. As Jacob knew, the soul may be a camp of two hosts, nature and grace, unbelief and belief battling within, yet still laying hold upon the promise, Thou hast said. If your faith be at present only a struggling faith, struggle on and never give up struggling, for that struggling faith is true faith and it is precious in the sight of Christ. It is faith that first begets a holy fear, and that fear then becomes a moving power to drive you closer to Christ. When you are afraid, then is the time to trust in Him. He does not plead against you with His great power, but He will put strength in you.

You have asked rightly that we should not fear though the earth be removed and the mountains carried into the midst of the sea, for God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. That fear which Noah felt when warned of things not seen as yet moved him to obedience, to prepare the ark to the saving of his house. So let a holy fear put wings to your heels to fly to Jesus, and let faith and fear together bring forth the gracious fruit of obedience, building your house upon the Rock by hearing the words of Christ in the Sermon on the Mount and putting them into practice.

We join you in praying for the young, for women, for the injured and the elderly, for medical teams and for ### like stewards who will administer food and water and supplies with wisdom, and for those who will not neglect the Word of God while they serve tables. We pray with you that the Lord of the harvest would send forth laborers into this harvest, for the harvest truly is plenteous. May He raise up men and women to pray, to preach the gospel of the kingdom as a testimony to all nations, to heal the sick, to comfort and edify, to show mercy and to exhort, all to the glory of Christ alone, through whom alone salvation is found.

You are right to ask that we be prepared not by looking for an escape from trial, but by being kept through it. Our Lord has plainly warned us that before the end there will be deception, wickedness multiplied, and persecution, and that many will fall away, but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. This perseverance is not our own strength, but His keeping. He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and He will put His fear in our hearts that we shall not depart from Him. Cling therefore to Christ and say with holy boldness, I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me. Nothing delights Christ like a sinner believing in Him, and great faith highly esteems Him and is highly esteemed by Him.

Let us then redeem the time, be sober, watch unto prayer, continue in the Word, and proclaim with boldness the good news that Christ died for sinners and rose again, calling all to repent and believe. May the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and may faith and love at last go hand in hand to heaven.

We pray this with you, that we may be found faithful, not alarmed but abiding, not stumbling but growing closer to Jesus, until He comes. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
