Signs of Redemption (Not Dates or Hours, Matt 24:36): Deception, Wars, Potential Conflicts, Famines, Earthquakes, Do Not Be Alarmed, Beginning of Birth Pangs, Matt 24:4-8

Father, we thank You that even in events like these You are still Our Refuge, Strength, and Ever-Present Help in Times of Trouble, therefore we will not fear, though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, Ps 46:1-3. Protect the young, women, injured and elderly -- raise up laborers and send them out into this time when people need THE LOVE OF GOD, The Good News, miracles, resurrections, gifts of healing, salvation, wisdom, edification, comfort, gifts of mercy, faith and exhortation... Medical teams... Lead them NOT int temptation but DELIVER them from evil, Matt 6:13... Joseph-like administrators of food, water, supplies and finances -- as well as not neglecting the Word of God to serve tables, Acts 6:2-6.

Prepare us all for storms of life, and even worse -- wars, famines, so we are not weakened or stumble in our faith but grow CLOSER to JESUS, are emboldened to pray, preach, heal the sick, cast out demons, prophesy of Christ's return, Rev 19:10... Lord prepare, provide for and send out laborers, Matt 9:35-36, 37-38, and help people get ready by hearing The Sermon on The Mount and PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE are like wise people who build their houses on The Rock so when rain and torrents rage and gush and blow we do not fall because we have a proper foundation, Matt 7:24-25, 1 Cor 3:11, because what Jesus says about enduring to the end to be saved IS A REAL WARNING and specifically in context to preaching the Gospel throughout the world as we've all been assigned, each to varying degrees, Matt 24:13-14, c.f. Matt 28:18-19, 20; Mark 16:15-17, Luke 24:46-67, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

"Jesus answered, 'See to it that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, claiming, "I am the Christ," and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 THEN they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, 11 and many false prophets will arise and deceive many. 12 Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13 But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and THEN the end will come.'" Matt 24:4-14.

we've been saying buckle our seatbelts, pray and don't count on an escape clause that exempts us from everything Jesus and the Apostles warned us... Matt 24:4-8. Birth pangs. Help us redeem the time, stop playing, agree with Your Spirit in getting holy and preach and witness to everyone, 2 Tim 3:16-4:5, praying for everyone, 1 Tim 2:1-5, Eph 6:18-20... God bless in Jesus' Name

We join you wholeheartedly in this prayer and agree together before the Father about these signs of redemption, not dates or hours, just as Jesus warned us.

We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas, though its waters roar and are troubled, Ps 46:1-3. We cling to the words of Jesus when He said, See to it that no one leads you astray, for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will lead many astray, you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that you are not troubled, for this must happen, but the end is not yet, for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places, but all these things are the beginning of birth pains, Matt 24:4-8. We remember also His clear word that no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only, Matt 24:36, so we do not set dates but we stay watchful, sober and ready.

We pray together, Father, we thank You that even in shaking and trouble You remain our refuge and ever present help, and we ask in Jesus name that You protect the young, the women, the injured and the elderly who are most vulnerable in wars, famines and earthquakes, and that You raise up and send out laborers into this harvest, for the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few, pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest, Matt 9:37-38. We ask You to anoint and dispatch those laborers with the love of God, the Good News, miracles, resurrections, gifts of healing, salvation, wisdom, edification, comfort, gifts of mercy, faith and exhortation, and we ask You to raise up medical teams and Joseph like administrators of food, water, supplies and finances who will steward resources with integrity while not neglecting the Word of God to serve tables, Acts 6:2-4, and we pray bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, and let Your peace guard hearts in the midst of alarming news, in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7.

We ask You to prepare us all for the storms of life and for worse, wars and famines, so that we are not weakened or caused to stumble in our faith but grow closer to Jesus, emboldened to pray, to preach, to heal the sick, to cast out demons and to bear witness that the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy, Rev 19:10. Help us to be those who hear Your words and do them, like a wise man who built his house on a rock, the rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock, Matt 7:24-25, for no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ, 1 Cor 3:11. We heed Your real warning that he who endures to the end, the same will be saved, and this Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matt 24:13-14, and we embrace our assignment to go therefore and make disciples of all nations, Matt 28:19, to preach the Good News to the whole creation, Mark 16:15, to proclaim repentance and remission of sins in His name to all the nations, Luke 24:47, as You sent us, so we are sent, John 20:21, and we will be witnesses to the ends of the earth, Acts 1:8.

We rebuke all deception and every false Christ and false prophet who would lead many astray, Matt 24:5, Matt 24:11, and we turn from complacency and from playing at faith, asking You to help us redeem the time and to agree with Your Spirit in getting holy, for every Scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16, so we will preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching, 2 Tim 4:2. We commit to pray with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints, Eph 6:18, and to offer petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:1, 1 Tim 2:3-5. It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no other name.

We do not count on an escape clause that exempts us from what Jesus and the apostles warned us would come, but we buckle our seatbelts in faith, we watch, we pray, we do not fear, and we lift up our heads knowing our redemption draws near. Strengthen us to endure, to love when wickedness multiplies and the love of many grows cold, Matt 24:12, and to keep proclaiming Your Son until the end. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our sure foundation, amen.

We appreciate you bringing this burden to prayer so thoughtfully. Your love for the vulnerable and your desire to stay close to Jesus while the world feels unsteady comes through clearly, and we join you in that.

It is understandable to feel on edge when wars and earthquakes fill the news. Wanting to stay watchful without living alarmed is a real tension. What has steadied many of us is remembering that faithfulness is more like long term training than trying to get through a single alarming headline. Small, regular ways of walking with the Lord over time do more to keep us steady than waiting for the next big event to change us. That kind of steady routine tends to make us stable, not stale, and helps us keep our footing when the ground feels like it is moving.

One simple way to live this out this week might be to choose one quiet, doable rhythm right where you are, time in the Word, prayer, or worship with other believers, and one small way to be a laborer where God has placed you, checking on a neighbor, supporting a food pantry or medical effort, or praying by name for those who are suffering. Staying rooted in those ordinary faithfulnesses often does more than trying to track every sign.

Father, we thank You that You remain our refuge when trouble comes. Guard this heart from fear, keep them close to Jesus, and make them a calm and loving presence to those around them. Provide for the young, the elderly and all who are hurting, and supply what is needed in Your mercy, day by day. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest prayer concerning the signs our Lord foretold has been heard with gratitude and solemn joy. We join you in thanking our God that He remains our Refuge and Strength, an ever present help in trouble, so that though the earth be removed and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, we will not fear, as Psalm 46 declares. The very things of which Christ warned us, deception, wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in various places, are indeed the beginning of birth pangs, and our Lord's word to us in Matthew 24 is, see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.

There is a faith which trembles and yet trusts, as Jacob did when he cried, I fear Esau, and yet pleaded, Thou hast said. So it is with many of you now. Fear and faith go hand in hand for a season, till perfect love casts out slavish fear and faith learns to say, In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Hear the angel's word which still sounds over Bethlehem, Fear not. That word was not for shepherds only, but for all to whom the glad tidings come. Fear dishonors God and weakens the hands, but to call upon Him in the day of trouble honors Him, for it confesses that He is, that He hears, and that He is able to deliver.

We will pray with you as you have asked. We ask the Lord of the harvest to protect the young, the women, the injured and the elderly, and to raise up and thrust forth laborers into this harvest, men and women full of the love of God to publish the Good News, to show mercy, to bring healing and comfort, to teach and exhort in the power of the Spirit. We pray for ### like administrators to steward food, water, supplies and finances with wisdom, and for faithful servants who, like those in Acts 6, will not neglect the Word of God while they serve tables. We pray that medical teams and all who give aid may be kept from temptation and delivered from evil, and that the gifts of the Spirit may be exercised for edification and salvation.

We pray also that we all may be prepared for storms, whether wars or famines or personal trials, not that we may stumble, but that we may grow closer to Jesus, emboldened to pray, to preach the gospel of the kingdom in all the world, to heal the sick, and to bear witness that Jesus is coming again. May we hear the Sermon on the Mount and put it into practice, so building our house upon the Rock, Christ Himself, that when rain and floods and winds beat upon it, we shall not fall. And may we be found among those who persevere to the end, for our Lord has said, he who endures to the end shall be saved, and this gospel shall be preached as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Let us redeem the time, agree with the Spirit in holiness, pray for all people as we are taught in 1 Timothy 2, and open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel. The river of God is full of water, and there is not one drop that takes its rise in earthly springs. He who has promised will perform all things for us. According to your faith be it unto you, and may the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
