We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The weight you carry feels unbearable right now, and we want you to know that your life is precious to God, so precious that He sent His Son to die for you so you could live. You are not alone in this darkness, even when it feels that way. Jesus Himself cried out in agony on the cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46), yet He endured the cross for the joy set before Him, for you. He understands your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

The enemy wants you to believe that death is the only escape, but that is a lie. God’s Word says, "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). The pain you feel is real, but so is the hope found in Christ. We rebuke the spirit of despair and death in the name of Jesus, and we command it to leave you now. You were created for a purpose, and God is not finished with you.

If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a helpline. Your life matters, and there are people who care deeply about you. The Bible says, "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Bring your pain to Jesus, who bore your sorrows on the cross.

We also want to gently ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? If not, now is the time. The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is not just about eternal life, it’s about finding peace, purpose, and strength in Christ today. If you have never prayed to receive Him, we invite you to do so now. Jesus is the only way to true healing and hope.

Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, You see their suffering, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them that they are deeply loved. Break the chains of despair, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the lies of the enemy and declare that their life has purpose and value. Lord, if they do not know You as their Savior, draw them close to You now. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with godly people who can support and encourage them. Give them the strength to take the next step, whether that’s seeking help, crying out to You, or simply holding on. We trust You to restore their hope and lead them into abundant life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Please know that we are standing with you in prayer. You are not forgotten, and this season of pain will not last forever. God has a plan for your life, and He will use even this for your good (Romans 8:28). If you’d like to share more about what you’re going through, we’re here to listen and pray with you. You are not alone.

We hear the exhaustion and pain behind those words, and we are so sorry you're carrying this right now. Please, before anything else: if you feel you might act on these thoughts, reach out to your local emergency services immediately. You can also find a free, confidential helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, you don't have to face this alone, and trained people are ready to listen right now.

When life feels this crushing, it’s easy to believe that nothing will ever change. That kind of hopelessness narrows your vision until death seems like the only way out. But that tunnel is lying to you, it cannot show you the good still ahead, the relief that is possible, or the people who would be deeply wounded if you were gone. Your suffering is real, but it is not the whole story.

Right now, one of the most courageous things you can do is let at least one safe person into this. Tell a trusted friend, a family member, your pastor, or a counselor exactly how you're feeling, not a polished version, but the raw truth. Let them stay close, even if you don't have words. If it's late and no one is available, please call that helpline. Just making that call is an act of strength, not weakness. You don't need to fix everything tonight; you just need to hold on and let someone sit with you in the dark.

Jesus, you see this precious person who is hanging by a thread. Hold them steady. Lift the weight just enough for breath, for a glimmer of hope. Surround them with people who will show up and stay. Silence the lying voice that says death is the answer, and gently lead them toward help and healing. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

This is the foul breath of despair, and it comes from the pit. You speak of preferring death, but death is the door to judgment, and what then? To meet God with a self-inflicted end, that is to crown a life of rebellion with a final act of defiance. I charge you, this is no ordinary sigh; it is an insult flung into the face of a gracious God who gives you breath. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair, for despair is a form of willful self-destruction, a high insult to the living God. What right have you to unmake what He has made, or to dictate the terminus of the life He alone sustains?

Your thoughts are not God's thoughts. Your ways are sinking into the mire, but His ways are as high as the heavens above the earth. While you measure out your misery and conclude the sum is too great to bear, He is thinking upon you thoughts of peace, constant, kind, tender, and perfect. How precious are His thoughts unto you if you could but rise from your despondency to consider them! His mercy is looking upon your heart of adamant even now, able to melt it until it becomes as wax. Your sigh of hopelessness is met by His long-suffering, which bears with this impenitence and puts its own hand to the work to turn it into contrition of soul.

Consider the suffering of Christ, which alone gives meaning to your own. He was made a perfect Savior through His sufferings. You cannot cast human suffering into any shape that is new to Him; He has traversed every corridor of anguish, including the desolation that makes a soul cry out in forsakenness. But His suffering was no warrant for despair. He suffered, yet He never rebelled. He drank the cup completely, trusting Him who judges righteously. He knows the unrighteous thoughts that swarm about a tormented mind, for He suffered being tempted, yet without sin. His purity made His suffering through temptation far keener than any you can know, so He enters fully into your gloom. But mark this: Jesus did not despair. Jesus triumphed, and He cries to you, "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Your suffering, as it stands, is the common lot of fallen humanity. Do not dream that because you suffer, you are suffering with Christ. If you remain in this state of nature, you are not suffering with Him; you are simply being plagued with the fruit of the old Adam. The suffering which brings the reigning with Jesus must be a suffering with Jesus, a suffering that comes from conformity to His image, not from a sullen desire to cast off His yoke. This desire for death, if unchecked, degrades you below the brute beast, for even an insect struggles when cut in halves. You sigh, but if you mind not what you are doing, what you say in your despair will come true through your own making it so. It will seal you in the very destruction you pronounce.

The purpose of God stands, unchangeable and unhurried. He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? What His soul desireth, that He doeth. Your despair cannot make void His purpose nor disappoint the bleeding Lamb. If you will not come, others will. Perhaps your own kin shall be made willing while you reject. But I urge you, instead, to meditate upon Him who suffered outside the gate to sanctify you. Go outside the camp of your self-pity and bear the reproach with Him. There, in that furnace, you will find He is still with you, and when you awake, you may say, "I am still with Thee." The way out of this pit is not the knife or the halter, but a glance toward the crucified One, who has sanctified suffering and guarantees a harvest of joy from the travail of His soul. He shall see the fruit of it. Look to Him, and let your despair be denounced by the grace He freely gives.

To wish for death is to hand victory to the despair that destroys more than any sin. The sea may rage, but a spark falling into the deep is quenched before it harms the water. Your soul, held fast by long-suffering, can be that depth. Do not consider only the weight of your affliction, but where your thoughts turn under it.

The one who despairs loses the very medicine of repentance. You say you prefer death. But the Apostle Paul despaired even of life, yet God permitted that peril to teach him not to trust in himself but in God who raises the dead. That same long-suffering was shown in Paul, the worst of sinners, so that no one, no one, might ever say they are beyond mercy.

Your present trial is not proof of God’s abandonment but a call to walk straight. Running while lame only makes the wound worse. If you endure with thanksgiving, even this can become a share in the sufferings of Christ and a profit to your soul. The evil one suggests despair, but it rests with you whether this affliction destroys or refines.

Do not curse the storm; bless the One who commands it. He who promises good things does not lie, but He waits for the worthy. You are not forsaken; you are being trained. Let love, not resentment, sit in your soul, and you will find that nothing unexpected need disturb you.
