We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical distress, lifting up your request for healing with faith and expectation, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. It is written in **Exodus 15:26**, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting in His sovereign power to restore your body.
The pain and discomfort you are experiencing in the sides of your right leg may feel mysterious or unsettling, but we know that nothing is hidden from our Heavenly Father. He sees the deepest parts of your body and understands what has taken place, even when we do not. In **Psalm 139:13-16**, we are reminded, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."*
We encourage you to seek medical attention if you have not already done so, as God often works through the wisdom and skill of doctors. However, we also know that ultimate healing comes from the Lord alone. In **James 5:14-15**, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to bring complete restoration to your leg, whether through supernatural intervention or the guidance of medical professionals.
Yet, as we pray for your physical healing, we must also ask: *Do you know the One who holds the power to heal?* True healing—whether of the body, soul, or spirit—comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we have the authority to pray. If you have been praying without acknowledging Him, we lovingly encourage you to repent and place your trust in Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, who is seeking Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every bone, muscle, and tendon in our bodies. We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon the sides of their right leg, restoring it to full strength and function. Remove any pain, inflammation, or hidden issue that is causing this distress. If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it and bring complete wholeness, for You are the God who sees all things.
We pray that You would guide them to the right medical care if needed, giving wisdom to those who treat them. But above all, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. If there is any sin that needs to be confessed or any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
Father, we also pray that if they do not yet know You as their Savior, that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering death so that they might have eternal life. May they place their faith in Him alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
