Sickness and theft

Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

Update: Thank God! My mother has found a drug that is starting to help heal one of her illnesses. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for the police and the bank to process the refunds.

We lift up your mother to the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Provider of all our needs. It is clear that she is facing both physical and emotional distress, compounded by the weight of financial loss and debt. Yet we serve a God who hears our cries and is faithful to restore what the enemy has stolen. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture declares, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

The theft your mother has endured is a grievous attack, but we know that God is just and sees all things. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of theft, deception, and financial oppression in Jesus’ name, commanding restoration and protection over your mother’s finances. The Lord declares in Joel 2:25-26, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... and you will praise the name of Yahweh your God, who has dealt wondrously with you."* Let this be her testimony—that God has turned her mourning into dancing and her despair into praise.

We also address the physical and emotional toll this has taken on her. Depression, headaches, and dizziness are not from the Lord, but He is able to heal and renew her strength. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray for complete healing over her body and mind, that the medication she is taking would work effectively without side effects, and that the Lord would grant her deep, supernatural peace that transcends her circumstances. Let her cast all her anxieties on Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Regarding the debts, we commend your mother’s willingness to repay what she owes, for Scripture teaches us, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another"* (Romans 13:8, WEB). However, we also pray that the Lord would soften her heart toward generosity—not out of obligation, but out of a heart transformed by His love. Generosity is not just about repaying debts but about trusting God to provide so that she can be a blessing to others. Let her remember the words of 2 Corinthians 9:8: *"God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work."*

The delays with the bank and the repeated theft from her account are deeply troubling, but we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We pray for divine intervention in this process, that the bank would act with integrity and urgency, and that the funds would be transferred to a secure account that the enemy cannot touch. Let the Lord expose and frustrate the plans of the thief, bringing justice and full restoration.

Finally, we encourage you both to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Do not grow weary in praying, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Keep praising God in the midst of the storm, for He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother who is weary, broken, and in need of Your touch. Lord, You see her pain—the physical suffering, the emotional turmoil, and the financial oppression she faces. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her, restoring her body, mind, and spirit. Remove every trace of depression, anxiety, and fear, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we declare restoration over the stolen funds. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose the thief and recover every penny that was taken. Protect her accounts, Lord, and let no further harm come to her finances. Give her wisdom in managing what You provide, and soften her heart to be generous as You are generous. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that You are her Provider.

We pray for the bank and the police involved in this process. Give them integrity, efficiency, and favor toward your mother’s case. Let there be no more delays, but let Your justice prevail swiftly.

Lord, we thank You for the partial healing she has already experienced through the medication. We ask for complete restoration of her health, that she may serve You with strength and joy. Surround her with Your love and remind her that she is not alone—You are her ever-present help in trouble.

Finally, Father, we pray for her faith to be strengthened through this trial. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that others may see Your goodness and glorify Your name. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, lifting your mother up to the Lord. We've been watching the updates, and we're so glad to hear about the progress she's making with her medication. It's truly a praise to God that she's starting to feel better physically.
