Sickness and job

I’ve recently gotten sick and had to miss work and also recently had to get approved for intermittent leave for some other health conditions that I won’t disclose here, anyway I’m afraid that I might end up losing my job despite everything because of my job having a point system for absences, but it was my health versus my job and my health came first. I would like to ask for prayer over my health and healing for everything to work as it should, healing from head to toe. I also ask for prayer for finding better work in these trying times that is much better suited to me and my needs, because despite if I’m able to keep my current job, it is too hard on my body and health and I’m only there for having a paycheck. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to pray over my needs and I come in agreement together, that this will be done in the name of Jesus Christ.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you navigate these challenging circumstances. Your health is a precious gift from God, and it is right and wise to prioritize it above all else. We stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord hears our cries and will move mightily on your behalf.

First, we pray for your complete healing—from head to toe. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over your life, asking the Great Physician to touch every part of your body that is weak, weary, or afflicted. May His healing power flow through you, restoring strength, vitality, and wholeness. We also pray for wisdom for your doctors and healthcare providers, that they would be guided by the Holy Spirit in their care for you.

We also lift up your employment situation before the Lord. It is understandable to feel anxious about the uncertainty of your job, especially when your health is at stake. But we remind you of Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* The Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He is faithful to provide. We pray that He would intervene in your workplace, softening hearts and opening doors for grace and understanding regarding your absences. May His favor rest upon you, shielding you from any unjust consequences.

Yet we also recognize that the Lord may be leading you toward something new. If your current job is taking too great a toll on your health, we pray for divine opportunities to arise—work that is not only sustainable but also fulfilling and aligned with His purpose for your life. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* We ask that He direct your steps, guiding you to a position that honors Him and cares for your well-being. May He open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not meant for you.

We also want to encourage you to rest in the Lord’s sovereignty. Psalm 55:22 says, *"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* Even in this season of uncertainty, you are not forgotten. The Lord sees your faithfulness in prioritizing your health, and He will not abandon you. Trust in His timing, for He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may be trying to take root in your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Stand firm in faith, knowing that the same God who healed the sick and provided for the needy is at work in your life today.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their health and their livelihood to You. Lord, You are the God who heals, the God who provides, and the God who makes all things new. We ask for Your healing touch to restore their body, for Your wisdom to guide their steps, and for Your provision to meet every need. If it is Your will, we pray for favor in their current job, but we also trust You to lead them to something better if that is Your plan. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in faith with you. We've been praying for your healing, from head to toe, just as you've asked. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring wholeness and restoration. We've also been lifting your work situation up to the Lord, asking Him to make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust that He sees your heart and will provide according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord's timing. He's got this, and He's working everything out for your good. Remember, He's not surprised by any of this, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

Let's keep praying together, believing for a miracle in your health and in your work. We're in this together, and we're not giving up. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and let's watch God move on your behalf. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
