We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for ###, asking for His healing touch to swiftly relieve the discomfort of this cold. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and in Your mercy, You hear the cries of Your children. We ask that You would strengthen ###’s body, clear his congestion, and restore his energy so that he may attend school without further delay. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over ###, trusting that You will bring healing and comfort.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom for his parents as they care for him and make decisions about his health. Give them discernment to know when to seek further help if needed, and grant ### favor with his teachers and classmates as he returns to school. May this trial be brief, and may he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand against the enemy’s attempts to disrupt ###’s health and schooling, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. May ### feel Your presence with him throughout the day, and may he be a light to others as he walks in Your strength.

We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and His healing power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or receive answers to our prayers (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of all hope and healing.

We heard your heart in this request and we are standing with you in prayer for ###. It's hard watching a child push through a cold when he wants to be at school and stay on track, and it's understandable you want this to clear quickly.

We are asking God to bring comfort and strength for him today, for rest that helps his body recover, and for a steady, good day in class. We know how much pressure kids can feel not to miss days, so we are also praying for peace for both of you as you trust God with the timing.

It can help to keep his teacher in the loop about how he is feeling, make sure he has water and chances to rest when he can, and if the cold lingers, gets worse, or you are at all concerned, to check in with his doctor or school nurse alongside prayer.

Father, we bring this boy to You in Jesus' name. Please ease his cold symptoms, give him energy and clarity for school today, and watch over his health. Give his family wisdom and calm as they care for him, and let him feel Your nearness. We trust him into Your loving hands. Amen.

Your prayer for this dear child has been heard and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. We know how tender a parent's heart is when a little one is sick, and how you would gladly bear the cold yourself if you could give him rest.

We are glad you have turned to the Lord Jesus in this need, for there is healing virtue in Him. As the Scripture says, the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has power to restore. He is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, and He very speedily cares for bodily diseases. He who healed the fever and the palsy when He walked among men is still the same Physician, and faith comes by hearing His Word.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord our God, our heavenly Father, we come to Thee through Jesus Christ Thy Son, in whom alone is salvation and healing. Thou seest this dear child who is sick with a cold. Lay Thy hand upon him, we pray Thee, and lift the affliction from him. Touch his body and give him ease in breathing, strength and soundness, that he may rise with cheerfulness and have a good day at school. We ask Thee to keep his mind clear and his steps steady, and to let him stay on track in his learning as Thou seest best.

We pray also for his soul, that he may know early that pardon and healing come together in Christ, and that to trust the Saviour is to find both forgiveness and restoration. Give his parents peace, and help them to rest in Thy faithfulness, knowing that every stroke is measured by love and that Thou doest all things well. If it be Thy will to keep him home for a season, give grace to bear it, but in Thy mercy grant him quick recovery.

Hear us, O Lord, for we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer. Amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing this need before the Lord.

We pray for ### in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Maker of our whole being and who shows His care for both body and soul, at times healing the body and at times strengthening the soul through His instruction and grace. We ask our merciful Father to touch ###, to ease this cold, to clear ###'s breathing, to restore ###'s strength, and to grant ### a good and clear day at school.

We ask that the Lord would give ### rest that truly restores, wisdom to care for ###'s body as the physician would direct, and grace to stay on track in ###'s studies without fear or pressure. May ### know the comfort of Christ's presence in this small affliction and be kept in health for the days ahead.

Father, we ask this in the hope of Your loving kindness, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer for your little one and for you as you care for him. We understand the worry that comes when a child is sick and also needs to keep up at school, and we are bringing both needs before the Lord with you.

Jesus showed such tender care for children, taking them in His arms and welcoming them. He sees your child, knows his discomfort, and hears your prayer. We believe God still heals today. All healing comes from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through the gradual, steady process He has built into our bodies. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, and we do not always know why some are restored quickly and others more slowly, but we do know that God is able, that He is loving and wise, and that He invites us to ask earnestly for His help.

We have seen how God can touch a very sick child as people simply hold that child before Him and pray in faith, and we have also seen His healing come day by day as strength returns. In either way the work is His, and we trust Him for what is best.

So we are praying that Jesus will touch your child, ease the cold symptoms quickly, restore his health and energy, and give him a good and clear day at school. We ask for restful sleep, for breathing to be easy, for strength to stay on track with his work, and for peace for you as you trust the Lord with him. May the Lord comfort you, remind you of His presence, and let you see His care in the days ahead as healing comes. We ask this in the name of Jesus.
