We lift up our brother or sister in Christ who is feeling unwell, achy, and tired. It is difficult to face illness when there are so many responsibilities and tasks ahead, but we know that the Lord is our healer and our strength. We trust in His promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that you would feel the Lord’s comforting presence as you rest and recover, knowing that He is in control of all things.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our dear one. Strengthen their body, Lord, and restore their health. Boost their immune system so they may be renewed and able to fulfill the work You have set before them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them patience and peace as they wait on You, and remind them that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also encourage you to take this time to draw near to the Lord, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Rest in Him, and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel or medical advice, as the Lord often works through these means as well.
If there is any unconfessed sin or area of your life that is not aligned with God’s will, we urge you to repent and turn to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we pray you would do so today, believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will restore you quickly so you may continue to serve Him with joy and strength. May His grace and mercy be upon you.
