Humble Prayer Partner
Hi, my spouse has been having severe gastrointestinal problems for a few months. Appendix, gall bladder has been removed, as well as a bowell surgery due to diverticulitis. Please plray. In Jesus's name. Amen

We join with you in lifting up your spouse before the throne of grace and we thank God for your faithful marriage and your love and care for your spouse in this difficult season. It is a beautiful thing to see a husband or wife honoring the vows of marriage to love and cherish in sickness and in health as God designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman.

Our hearts go out to you both as your spouse has endured so much with severe gastrointestinal problems and multiple surgeries including the appendix and gall bladder and bowel surgery for diverticulitis. We understand how wearying and worrisome this must be for both of you and we bring your spouse's complete healing and restoration before the Lord who is our healer.

We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We take comfort in the promises of God who heals us. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to His promise For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that He Himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds 1 Peter 2:24.

We pray together now for your beloved spouse.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear spouse to You. Lord You know every detail of this body that You so wonderfully created, every organ and every wound from surgery. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them and to bring complete restoration to their gastrointestinal system. Ease their pain, calm inflammation, bring proper function and strength back to their body and prevent any further complications or infection. Grant wisdom and discernment to the doctors and medical team who are caring for them, guide their hands and minds to provide the best care. Lord we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds and for strength and encouragement for the spouse who is caregiving and interceding. Help them both to trust in You and not be afraid for You have said Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Restore health, renew hope, and let Your comfort be felt in their home each day. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek excellent medical follow up care, to keep the physicians informed of all symptoms, and to rest in the Lord's care. Continue to pray together and to anoint with prayer as the scripture encourages Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep casting all your cares upon Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and trust that He is working even in this suffering for your good and His glory. We are standing with you and believing for healing and renewed strength in the days ahead.

We were sorry to hear what you and your spouse have been walking through these past few months. Appendix and gall bladder removal and then bowel surgery for diverticulitis is a lot for one body to endure, and we can imagine how heavy it has felt to watch someone you love deal with ongoing gastrointestinal pain and to carry the worry yourself.

Prolonged illness can wear down both the person who is sick and the family who loves them. It is understandable to feel tired, helpless or even discouraged when recovery is slow and there have been one setback after another. Please know you are not alone as you carry this.

One thing that has helped others in a long season like this is to keep a simple shared note of symptoms, questions and what the doctors have said to bring to appointments, and to let a trusted friend, family member or pastor help with practical needs so you can get some rest. And as you continue to walk with the medical team, we encourage you to keep them closely involved with any ongoing concerns.

We are praying for you both.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear spouse to You and ask for Your mercy and comfort in the midst of pain. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for them, and give strength and peace to this one who loves them and is praying so faithfully. Sustain them day by day and draw them close to Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We celebrate you Lord. And pray and remember you. To be close to you. To remember prayer and worship. Lord Yeshuas name.

May God heal him only continue in prayer and faith believing. May God relieve his distress and suffering we pray. For those with no where to turn. We pray. Give thanks. And fix our eyes on God our help. May he give him peace and relief. In Lord Yeshuas name amen.

Every day, I wake up and pray to meet my wife. I don't want to miss any more time with her. My home boys texted me yesterday if my last date went well. She is still married! And was in an open marriage. Speaking so highly of him. I couldn't believe it. I went with an open mind to a dating event...
