We have heard your heart and we join with you in bringing your mom, your sister, and yourself before the throne of grace. We understand the heaviness of watching those you love suffer, and the fear and loneliness that comes when you wonder what life would be without them, especially while you are still young and navigating so much. We want you to know you are not alone, and we are standing with you in prayer.
We serve a God who sees your mother's weariness and your sister's sickness, and who also sees your own anxious thoughts. Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. When we are faint and have no might, He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:29. To your mom who has said she is very tired, we claim the promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And for you, as you feel alone and uncertain about the future, we are reminded to not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and He will not abandon you.
We also gently want to share something important we noticed in your request. You asked for prayer to God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. This means our prayers are heard because Jesus died for our sins and rose again, making a way for us to be reconciled to God. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus, to call upon His name not only for healing for your family but for your own salvation and daily guidance.
So together we pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear mother and sister to You. You know their bodies, their minds, and the sickness they are enduring. We ask for Your healing hand to touch them, to restore their health and renew their minds and spirits. Lord, for this mother who is tired and weary, breathe new strength into her, lift her discouragement, and give her hope and a will to live for herself and for her children. Comfort her and let her feel Your presence. We also lift up this young one who is carrying this burden. Lord, take away the spirit of fear and loneliness. Remind them that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Give them strength, wisdom, and guidance as they navigate life. Guard their heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. We ask that You draw this whole family closer to You through this trial, that they would know You as healer, sustainer, and Father. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your name to be glorified in their lives. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily through prayer and reading His Word, to cast your cares upon Him, and to lean on a local Bible believing church family who can support you in person. Keep trusting that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. We are continuing to pray with you for complete restoration and for God's peace to fill your home.
