My husband and I have been through so much in the last 10 years...(there is way too much to explain, and it's more than one person, let alone a couple, will go through in an entire lifetime), but they say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger - and we are strong.

We finally have gotten our heads above water, looking to jump on this bandwagon of selling/buying, while the interest rates are good, etc. We just decided to do this, literally, 2 weeks ago. I found a house that I love, and know it could be so awesome for us. The house we are leaving we resurrected from the dead. It has become a home, and decorated, and updated quite a bit, despite the fact it was built in 1960!!

The house I am looking at is in our same area (our 2 kids would go to the same school), but it has not a lot of areas for the kids to play, other than the outdoor pool area, which is to die for. There is a basement, and it is finished, but it's 15x20, or so. I see the potential, and this house has so much. It's beautiful.

We are in a small town, and there are not too many choices.

The house we put up for sale could be on the market for months, or it could go fast.

We have sunk so much money into this place we are in now, to make it nice, with much more to do, but it has potential to be a WOW someday, but I am not sure I want to wait for that time to come true. We are exhausted with updating, renovating, etc., and this other place is turn-key ready for the most part.

I realize it's our decision, and our gut feeling, but if anyone has any thoughts, let us know.

Thank you!!

p.s.

Just an FYI, the heading says it all. But, wanted to make sure you realized, the house we are in now, it's not a true neighborhood, and the furnace is old, the outside pool is old, and there's a lot of things that could just nickel and dime us.

Lord, if it is Your will bless this family with a new home. Hear the prayers of this ### and ### and show her Your love and mercy. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen!
