We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical struggle, lifting up your need for healing and restoration. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that God cares deeply about every part of our well-being. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your shortness of breath is not unseen by Him, and we trust in His power to bring healing, whether through divine intervention or the wisdom of medical care He provides.
We also recall the words of **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, which instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we pray for your physical healing, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical attention if you haven’t already, trusting that God often works through the hands of those He has gifted with knowledge.
At the same time, we exhort you to examine your heart before the Lord. Sometimes physical ailments can be a call to draw nearer to Him, to repent of any known sin, or to release burdens you may be carrying. **1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)** tells us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Is there anxiety, stress, or unconfessed sin weighing on you? Bring it before the Lord now, for He is faithful to forgive and restore.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is experiencing shortness of breath. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their lungs and knows every breath they take even before it reaches their lips. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their body, restoring strength and ease to their breathing. If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it and provide the wisdom and resources needed for complete restoration.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be at work, commanding it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind as they trust in You. Remind them that even in this trial, You are near, and Your love is unwavering.
If this season of struggle is meant to draw them closer to You, use it for Your glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them testify of Your goodness and healing power. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and let this trial be an opportunity to experience His presence in a deeper way. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for your complete healing. If this condition persists, do not hesitate to seek medical attention, trusting that God can work through doctors as well. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.
