We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are the God who sees every detail of our lives, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You intervene in this matter of the electrical hazard that poses a serious risk to health and safety. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." Lord, we cry out on behalf of this dear one, asking that You would move swiftly to bring resolution to this dangerous situation.
We rebuke the spirit of delay and neglect that has prevented the electrician from completing the necessary repairs. We command every hindrance to be removed in Jesus’ name, so that the short circuit may be fully addressed and made safe. We also pray for the landlord or legal representative—soften their heart, Lord, and grant them a sense of urgency to fulfill their responsibilities. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You turn their heart toward justice and prompt action.
Father, we also lift up the search for a new place to live. It is deeply concerning that a contract would require surrendering civil rights—this is not of You, Lord. We pray that You would expose any deceitful or unjust agreements and lead this person to a safe, fair, and godly housing solution. Psalm 23:3 says, "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." Guide them, Lord, to a place where they can dwell in safety and peace, free from exploitation.
We also take a moment to address the spiritual foundation of this request. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this situation is being brought before God without the full assurance of faith in Jesus, we urge a turning of the heart toward Him. For those who confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved (Romans 10:9). Only through Christ do we have access to the Father, and only in His name do we find true deliverance.
We pray now with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this dear one, declaring Your protection over their health, their home, and their future. We break every assignment of the enemy that seeks to bring harm, delay, or oppression. We command the electrical hazard to be resolved completely and the landlord to act with integrity. We ask for Your divine provision of safe and righteous housing, where no unjust contracts or hidden snares exist. We declare that this situation will not overwhelm but will instead become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Provide wisdom, strength, and favor in every interaction, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
