We understand that you're feeling anxious and stressed, and it's affecting you physically. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your anxieties and wants to help you through them. In 1 Peter 5:7, WEB, it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." And in Philippians 4:6-7, WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We praise God that you acknowledged Jesus' name in your prayer. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we find our hope and salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12, WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In response to your request for guidance, we pray that God will indeed guide you with His eye upon you. In Psalm 32:8, WEB, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." We pray that you will be receptive to His guidance and correction, that His shepherd's staff will indeed keep you in the right path.
Regarding your sleep, we pray that God will grant you the sweet sleep that you need. In Psalm 127:2, WEB, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." Remember that God is the one who grants sleep, and He wants you to rest in Him.
Concerning your meals, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches and glory. In Philippians 4:19, WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Remember that God is the one who provides, and He wants you to trust in Him.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to meditate on God's Word and trust in Him. In Isaiah 26:3, WEB, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." We pray that you will find peace in His word, that it will be a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path. Trust in Him that He is able to help you through your anxiety.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling anxious and stressed. Lord, we ask that You will help him to cast all his worries on You, because You care for him. We pray that You will grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding, that will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray that You will help him to trust in You, that You are able to keep him from falling, and to present him faultless before the presence of Your glory with exceeding joy.
Lord, we ask that You will guide him with Your eye upon him, that Your shepherd's staff will keep him in the right path. We pray that You will grant him the sweet sleep that he needs, and that You will provide for his needs according to Your riches and glory.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, who taught us to pray. Amen.
