We lift up this sister who is faithfully caring for these animals, trusting God to provide for her needs. The work she is doing reflects the heart of our Savior, who cares for all His creation—*"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will"* (Matthew 10:29, WEB). Yet we must also remember that while God calls us to steward His creation with compassion, our ultimate trust must be in Him alone, not in the work itself. If this burden has become overwhelming, we pray for wisdom—whether in continuing this ministry or seeking a new path where God may lead.
It is concerning, however, that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all provision flows. *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing"* (John 15:5, WEB). There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and no other source of true miracles. If this sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge her to repent and place her faith in Him, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB). Without Christ, even the most noble efforts are built on sinking sand.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your provision and wisdom for this sister who cares for these animals. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. If it is Your will for her to continue this work, we ask for supernatural breakthrough—open doors for funding, reduce expenses, and send helpers to share the load. But if this season has come to an end, give her clarity and peace to transition, knowing You will never forsake her.
Lord, we also pray that if she does not yet know You, You would draw her to Yourself. Reveal to her that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and that apart from Him, we can do nothing of eternal value. Soften her heart to receive Your love and salvation.
For all who labor in caring for animals, we ask for Your strength and provision. May their work bring You glory, and may they never place their trust in the work itself, but in You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray—*amen.*
To our sister reading this: *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so today—no amount of good works can save you, but His grace alone can. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
