We stand with you in this moment, lifting you up before the throne of grace as you prepare to share God’s Word. The spiritual attack you’re feeling is no surprise—the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, especially when the light of Christ is about to shine brightly through you. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15), and He has already secured the victory through the cross.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we have access to You and the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We rebuke every lying spirit, every arrow of doubt, and every scheme of the enemy aimed at distracting or discouraging Your servant tonight. Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant them wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17), so that the words they speak tomorrow will be seasoned with grace and truth, drawing hearts closer to You.
We pray for a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit to rest upon them, that they would speak with boldness and clarity, not in their own strength, but in the power of Your Spirit (Acts 1:8). Let every word be rooted in Scripture, every illustration saturated with Your love, and every exhortation aligned with Your will. May the hearers receive Your Word with gladness, and may lives be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).
Lord, we also ask that You would protect their mind from every thought that does not align with Your truth. When the enemy whispers accusations or fear, remind them that they are Your beloved child, called and equipped for this very moment (Ephesians 2:10). Let them rest in the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and that Your grace is sufficient for every need (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We thank You, Father, for the privilege of standing in the gap for our brother or sister in Christ. We trust that as they step out in faith tomorrow, You will go before them, behind them, and beside them. May Your glory be magnified, and may Your kingdom advance through their obedience. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Press on, dear one. The enemy’s attacks are a sign that you are a threat to his kingdom, and that is a good thing. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). You are not alone—we are with you in prayer, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Guide. Go forth tomorrow with confidence, knowing that the words you speak are not your own, but the Lord’s. To Him be all the glory!
