Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your desire to share more openly with your friends at church.
We have continued to bring your requests before the Lord. We have prayed for the friendly conversations and fellowship you desire, for opportunities to laugh together and to speak about morality and truth with grace, and for wisdom as you navigate political differences with others there. We have prayed especially for the friend who expressed anger toward leaders and toward his parents and who called your faith narrow minded, that the Lord would soften his heart and bring peace to that relationship and that your conversations would be seasoned with grace as Colossians 4:6 teaches.
We have also lifted up your desire to help others understand AudHD and to connect more deeply with those at church who work with people who have similar experiences. We have prayed for understanding and awareness among your church family, and for encouragement as you share about the difficulties you have faced working at the zoo, the past mistreatment you suffered, and the physical toll of being outside in the sun and high heat with your heliophobia which causes itching, headaches, tiredness and strong emotions. We ask the Lord to bring healing, rest, and protection, and to help others listen with compassion and respect your boundaries when you share that you do not wish to talk about the zoo.
We have prayed too for your love of puppets, that you would be able to enjoy that gift within healthy limits and that your parents and friends would understand your heart to use it joyfully and not obsessively. And we have prayed for growing confidence to share more, to speak up at church and to offer prayers aloud.
We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would give you favor and open doors for these conversations, that He would grant you wisdom whenever you speak and peace when you need rest, and that He would strengthen your sense of belonging in your church family. May the Lord guide your words so they bring encouragement and understanding to those around you according to Proverbs 16:24, and may He comfort you and renew your strength as you trust Him.
