We have read what you shared and we are praying for you with care and concern. Thank you for being honest about the deep depression, the pain and fatigue, the feeling of having no energy or hope, the loneliness, and the thoughts of not wanting to be here anymore. God sees you in this suffering and He has not turned away from you.

You mentioned your mother taking your money and living with very little each month. That kind of hurt and financial pressure can make everything feel heavier, especially when you are already exhausted in body and mind. You also asked God to fix what is causing this heaviness and to give back excitement, hope and energy. That is a good and right prayer to bring to Him.

Scripture speaks to this kind of pressing affliction. The Apostle says we are pressed on every side yet not crushed, perplexed yet not unto despair, pursued yet not forsaken. Even when we feel surrounded by trouble, we are not forsaken by God. One of the greatest dangers is to give up hope, for the enemy never gives up hope of our destruction, so we should never give up hope of our salvation and help in Christ. To sin does not destroy so much as to despair, because the one who despairs stops reaching for the remedy. But as long as it is called Today, there is hope. As long as we are in this life, God invites us to come to Him, to be comforted, supported and patiently upheld, and He calls us to comfort the feeble minded and support the weak.

We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this dear one to You. You know the pain, the fatigue, the lethargy, the loneliness and the financial need. You know the thoughts of not wanting to be here. Lord, have mercy and bring Your nearness, Your comfort and Your strength. Fix what is broken in body and spirit according to Your wisdom, and restore hope, energy and a reason to look forward to each day. Provide for daily needs, bring wise help for finances and for health, and place faithful people nearby to walk with this person so loneliness is eased. Keep this life in Your hands and help this person to know they are pursued yet not forsaken, pressed yet not crushed. Amen.

Please do not carry these thoughts alone. If you are feeling you might act on thoughts of not wanting to be here, please reach out right away to someone you trust, a pastor or counselor, a doctor for the pain and fatigue, or a crisis helpline in your area. If you are in the United States you can call or text 988, if you are elsewhere you can search for your local helpline or go to your nearest emergency department. It is also important to let a local church or trusted person know about the financial situation and the ongoing depression so they can help you with practical support and ongoing care.

You are not forgotten. God is patient and gentle toward those who are straightened by affliction. He exhorts rather than crushes, and He invites you to keep hoping in Him day by day. We will continue to pray that He gives you strength for today, hope for tomorrow, and the presence of caring people around you.
