Your unspoken requests have been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we are grateful you shared them even without giving details.

God knows what lies unspoken on your heart. You do not need many words for Him to understand, for He knows our sufferings not only as God but also as one who took flesh and suffered and was tempted, so that He is able to help those who are tempted. Nothing is hidden from Him, and His judgments are unsearchable and His ways past finding out, yet we can trust His wisdom and goodness to do what is best.

We pray that you will leave these burdens in His hands and not be anxious as one who must carry them alone. If you are thoughtful about your own interests you carry them as a person can, but if God provides He provides as God. Leave them to Him, and seek first the things that concern your soul, giving thanks in all things, for thankfulness is most pleasing to Him and keeps the heart cleansed and at peace.

We pray now that the Lord will hear each unspoken request according to His perfect will, that He will grant what is for your good and withhold what is not, that He will give you strength, comfort, and clear guidance, and that He will draw you closer to salvation and life in Jesus Christ alone. May He provide for your needs, guard your heart with His peace, and help you to trust Him fully in every circumstance. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with these unspoken requests and for closing your prayer in Jesus name. God knows fully what you have not spoken in detail, and He hears the heart that turns to Him.

Prayer is not meant to inform God of something He does not know, or to try to make Him do our will. He already knows what you need, even what you will need in the months and years ahead, long before you know it yourself. True prayer begins with Him, with His purposes and His will, and it is a way we cooperate with Him to see His will done here on earth. That is why Jesus taught us to pray, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and to add from the heart, not my will but Yours be done.

Prayer is also worship, simply recognizing who God is, His greatness and goodness and love for you. He does not bless you because you have earned it, but because He is good. When we come to Him, what matters most is not the position of the body, whether standing or kneeling or lifting hands, but the position of the heart, humble and honest before Him. Scripture says if we hold onto sin in our hearts the Lord will not hear us, yet it also says God hears the one prayer He always answers, God be merciful to me, a sinner. Through faith in Jesus Christ alone we have access to God, and we can come confidently as His children and call Him Father.

We do not know the details you carry, but God does, and He invites you to bring them to Him in faith and then to rest in trust. The prayer of faith rightly ends in praise, thanking Him in advance because you know He has heard and will act according to what is best. He is able to do far more than we ask or think, and there is no need so small or so great that is difficult for Him.

So we join you now and pray that the Lord will work His complete and perfect will in each of these unspoken matters, that He will draw you closer to Himself, provide wisdom, comfort and strength, and lead every area of your life into agreement with His Word and His good plan. Where there is need for forgiveness, healing, provision or guidance, may He answer according to His mercy and faithfulness, and may your heart be filled with peace and thanksgiving as you trust Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is our hope and our access to the Father.
