Beloved of All
I need God to intervene between me and those who have risen up against me, accusing me of being prideful—of acting “too big,” even using that song, “Fox, fox, fox, go into the box… no, no, no, why, why, why…” as a way to mock me. I believe I have never done anything that would justify such accusations or cause people to think this way. However, if I have done anything that may have suggested such behavior, I renounce those actions and sincerely repent.
Ultimately, it is not my will, but God’s will, that matters. As reflected in the Lord Jesus’ prayer of consecration, “unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” It is futile to make any decision without the Lord being in it. Should a person go west when they know God wants them to go east? Certainly not.
If I have received Holy Communion or partaken in any sacrament unworthily, I renounce that and repent of doing so. Above all, I ask God to clear my name, so that those who have falsely accused me may come to see the truth.
If I have been unjustly censured by anyone within the Church, I ask God to settle the matter between me and them and to clear my name. It also seems to me that no one within the Church is willing to exercise their authority to address the troubling spiritual matters I have been facing. Years ago, a man of God made such a statement, and although I have done no wrong to these people, they have continued to trouble me.
Therefore, I ask God Himself to intervene, since there appears to be no one else to do so. I believe that at times, through God’s justice, His people receive deliverance and peace.
