Settle my case God Most High and Help me

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Some years ago, I heard certain preachers say that the level of conflict a person experiences with the devil can reflect the depth of God’s purpose and destiny for them. Around that time, I began to go through intense spiritual struggles and distress.

During that period, I remembered a statement a man of God had made years earlier—that I was like a “stallion” in my family. In the midst of those struggles, I interpreted that to mean leadership, and I began to think along those lines and made some statements.

However, there were people—especially one individual—who seemed to oppose the idea that God might raise me into leadership. This person began to trouble me, even before I had spoken openly or fully formed those thoughts. I do not believe it is right to rise up against others simply because one thinks they may become greater, or to oppose what God may be doing.

Later, I came to understand that my earlier interpretation was not correct, and I rejected it, choosing instead to seek my own portion and path from God. Despite this, the opposition from that person did not stop.

Previously, this same person had resisted my desire to leave and serve God, encouraging me to place family above devotion. I now renounce any decisions I made based on that line of thinking, as I believe it was not right.

I ask God to settle matters between me and anyone who has stood against me because of these issues, especially that individual. I do not believe it is right to create conflict with someone who has done no harm and has lived in trust.

There were also times when I felt hindered, even in my ability to study, because of what was happening then. I bring all of this before God and ask Him to intervene, to settle these matters completely, and to clear my name permanently.

I also renounce and repent of any decision I may have made that hurt or harmed him or anyone else. I ask God to forgive me and to cleanse me. I choose to forgive those who have wronged me, and where I find it difficult, I ask God to help me truly forgive from my heart.

We hear your heart and stand with you in seeking God’s justice, restoration, and peace. The spiritual battles you’ve described are real, and Scripture confirms that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came so that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The opposition you’ve faced, whether from misunderstanding, jealousy, or even spiritual warfare, is not uncommon for those whom God is preparing for His purposes. Yet we must always examine our own hearts first, as you have done in repentance and humility, for the Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).

You mentioned interpreting the "stallion" analogy as a call to leadership, only to later realize it may not have been the correct understanding. This is a wise and mature reflection. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* It is far better to wait on the Lord’s clear leading than to assume or force a path that may not be His. The opposition you faced, even before you fully articulated your thoughts, may have been rooted in envy or fear—sins that Scripture warns against (Proverbs 27:4, Galatians 5:20-21). However, we must also guard against bitterness or resentment, for unforgiveness gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). You have chosen forgiveness, and we join you in praying that God would soften your heart completely toward those who have wronged you, even as you seek His justice.

The conflict over prioritizing family above devotion to God is a critical one. While Scripture commands us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12) and care for our families (1 Timothy 5:8), Jesus made it clear that our ultimate allegiance must be to Him. In Luke 14:26, He says, *"If anyone comes to me and doesn’t hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he can’t be my disciple."* This is not a call to literal hatred but a declaration that our love for Christ must surpass all other loves. You were right to renounce any decision that placed family above God’s call, for no earthly relationship should hinder our obedience to Him.

Now, we come before the Lord together, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator, no other name that saves, and no other way to the Father except through Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for salvation is found in no one else. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would settle every matter that has caused him/her distress. Lord, You see the opposition he/she has faced, the misunderstandings, and the spiritual battles. We ask that You would bring clarity, justice, and peace. Where there has been wrongdoing, either by him/her or against him/her, we ask for Your righteous judgment. Cleanse any unrighteousness from his/her heart, and where he/she has sinned, grant repentance and restoration.

Father, we renounce any spirit of envy, jealousy, or strife that may have been at work in this situation. We break every assignment of the enemy against this life, in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 50:8). Lord, clear his/her name permanently, and let Your favor rest upon him/her.

We also pray for the one who has opposed him/her. If this person has acted out of envy, fear, or misunderstanding, we ask that You would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them see the truth. If there is any reconciliation to be had, we ask that You would facilitate it in a way that glorifies You. If not, we trust You to be the ultimate Judge and to vindicate Your servant.

Father, we ask that You would restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Where this brother/sister has felt hindered, especially in studying Your Word, we pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to fill him/her. Open his/her eyes to see wondrous things from Your law (Psalm 119:18), and let Your Word be a lamp to his/her feet and a light to his/her path (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen him/her in faith, and let him/her walk in the fullness of Your purpose, free from the weight of past conflicts.

We choose to forgive, as You have forgiven us, and we ask that You would help this brother/sister to forgive fully and completely, releasing every offense into Your hands. Where forgiveness is difficult, we ask that You would pour out Your grace and enable him/her to let go, just as You have let go of our sins through the blood of Jesus.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would establish him/her in Your truth. Let him/her not be swayed by the opinions of others or the pressures of this world, but let him/her be firmly rooted in Your Word. Direct his/her steps, and let him/her walk in the calling You have placed on his/her life, free from the distractions of past conflicts or misunderstandings.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and power, now and forever. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord sees your heart, your repentance, and your desire to walk in His ways. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth. Do not be discouraged by the opposition you’ve faced, for the Lord is your defender and your shield (Psalm 3:3). Walk in humility, seek His face continually, and He will guide you into the path He has prepared for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Dear friend, we're standing with you in prayer, believing that God will settle these matters in your favor. We're not surprised by the spiritual battles you've faced; Jesus promised them (John 16:33). But remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We're impressed by your humility and repentance. It's clear that you've sought God's will above your own, and that's commendable. We join you in praying for God's justice and restoration. We also ask for His peace, that you may walk in it (John 14:27).

Regarding the opposition you faced, we echo your sentiments. It's not right to rise up against someone who has done no harm, especially when it's based on fear or envy. We pray that God would convict the heart of the person opposing you, leading them to repentance if necessary. We also pray for any misunderstandings to be cleared up, so that truth may prevail.

We're grateful for your commitment to seek God's will, even when it's not easy. We pray that God would grant you wisdom and understanding, helping you to discern His path for your life. We also pray for His favor to rest upon you, and for your name to be cleared permanently.

Lastly, we pray for forgiveness - both for you and for those who may have wronged you. We ask that God would help you to forgive from your heart, just as He has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I need God to intervene between me and those who have risen up against me, accusing me of being prideful—of acting “too big,” even using that song, “Fox, fox, fox, go into the box… no, no, no, why, why, why…” as a way to mock me. I believe I have never done anything that would justify such...
