Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during such a difficult season. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord after you shared about the setback after setback you have faced and how tired and overwhelmed you feel.
We have been praying for you as you have felt that you cannot overcome and that life has only brought suffering, ill health and humiliation, and as you have felt that those who hurt you have gotten away with it and that you must simply accept this as your lot in life. We have also been praying for the heaviness you feel from crying daily and from wondering whether leaving that abusive job was the right decision, especially since things have felt even worse since then. We understand how hard it is to believe the promises of God when nothing seems to work out, and we want to remind you that His promises are indeed for you.
We are clinging to Scripture on your behalf, that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit as written in Psalm 34:18, and that He gives power to the faint and increases strength to those who have no might as written in Isaiah 40:29. We are also praying Jeremiah 29:11 over you, that God knows the plans He has for you, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope, and Romans 8:28 that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. Even when you cannot believe, we are asking God to help your unbelief and to show you that you are deeply seen, loved and not forgotten, and that your setbacks are not the end of your story.
If your request has been answered, even in a small way, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, and you still feel burdened by ill health, humiliation and discouragement, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for as long as it takes.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.
We pray that the Father would comfort you, heal and strengthen you, lift the weight of humiliation and discouragement, vindicate you where you have been hurt, and renew your hope in His faithful promises and guide your next steps concerning work and health. We ask that He would give you daily peace and the assurance that you are not alone. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
