Beloved Warrior
🕊️Video Time w/###, Holy Spirit Edifies Youth, 1 Cor 14:1-3, even Her, Yet Convicts of Ongoing Sin, Jn 16:18, Matrimonial Repents 2 Pet 3:9, Performs Good Works in Keeping with Repentance, Matt 3:8, Acts 26:20 🙏 Godly Sorrow —> Repentance unto Life w/o Regret 2 Cor 7:10... 🙌 Father, thank you for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, James 5:16! Thank You that I have had contact through video the last few days. Thank You that as much in us is able, we forgive her and been praying for her as Job prayed for his friends, Job 42:10-16, for keeping my son from videoing with me then (months of his life I barely got to see him during that time) -- and though I'll never get that back -- I have some consolation now and know You are good, and he has some benefit by sensing relationship, love and seeing me. Father I thank You love us and we are examples of You to an extent, Eph 5:1, in showing You to our offspring... Thank You as I kNOW You will continue to work things together for good, Rom 8:28, after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, and that the end of The LORD's dealings are good, James 5:11, to give us a hope and a future, Jer 29:11.

I am asking she will do two things, 1) Call earlier and not 2am or 4am, but late evening, more like 10pm so I may have more of a daytime schedule in my location. 2) That she comes to agree to a financial amount that is more appropriate to his needs, not an exorbitant exploitation of a foreigner's finances. I am more than willing to contribute and help support legitimate needs, even graciously, yet hesitant to further a prodigal and exorbitant lifestyle that is in essence opposite of what the Word of God, my pastors, praying believers and clear conscience dictates as necessary or needed. I also would request grace for this to work out quickly and easily as You are able to do everything, and with You nothing is impossible. I sense Your activity in this all, even the conversations and their length, and ask for continued favor, mercy, grace and protection on this communication, my heart and theirs, and that I yield to 1 Cor 7:15, letting the unbeliever go, I am not bound to her anymore but free, and You have called us to peace. Help me go through the proper channels and may it seem like but a few days to me as You did for Jacob, Gen 29:20.

Help me bear the other crosses of "passive aggressiveness," "silence" and "pictures and videos" sent to others and taken with others, "suggestive online profiles"and "meeting men at various locations" -- May the trained counsellors who wanted us to come aside and give us guidance and accountability continue to pray for her and the youngster, safety and blessing… But I concede again she has free will, "But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God, not being baptized by John themselves," Luke 7:30.

Yet do continue to pray you have mercy and take away “false security” of eternal life and turn her from being "secure in her sins." Allow her to become REAL, EVERLASTING CHANGE, Repentance unto life, saving grace, and renewing of the mind, proving what the will of God really is, Rom 12:2-3. Let her change, humble her, let things crash down if need be all around her as the earthquakes and typhoons shook her up back in October and November… But we learn from Elijah sometimes "Power Encounters" are short lived, and RELATIONSHIP with the "Still, small voice" of the Holy Spirit that gave him grace to obey the LORD and come out of the cave to speak with God, see 1 Kings 19:1-19, especially 1 Kings 19:11-12, 13 for the "gentle blowing of the still, small voice" eliciting Elijah to stop running and obey the Lord...

Please Lord, SAVE HER so she can RAISE OUR SON with RESPECT for YOU, Eph 6:4, Your WAYS and for The Marriage Covenant (Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33), and BIBLICAL ORDER, 1 Cor 11:3, 1 Pet 3:1-7; Gen 2:17-18… "Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done," Luke 22:42, Heb 5:7. Please use her church, preaching, teaching, bring others into her path to warn her and gently correcter, use any and every means to bring her to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, Acts 17:30...

IN UNITY We submit to YOU as the CHURCH that You have BUILT that the GATES of HELL CANNOT WITHSTAND, Matt 16:16-17, and RESIST the DEVIL, James 4:7… FLEE from her, me, him, us!!! -- In JESUS’ NAME… And let me continue to pray fervently and fast diligently — and not be embittered toward her, 1 Peter 3:1-7 and speak tenderly to her -- Hos 2:14 -- she will "perish" without repentance, but that's not YOUR will, LORD, and DEFINITELY not mine — “God is not slow toward us, but patient, not willing any should PERISH, but all come to REPENTANCE — 2 Peter 3:9 (metanoia — intense change of mind about sin — independence, lying, stealing, cheating are NOT "cool" but those things should be "former way of life -- not ongoing" and ought now to cause shame, Rom 6:21)... Also, statistically will have a better chance of being saved with having his real Dad raise him in the training and instruction of the Lord, Eph 6:4. It should be that “from infancy he knows the Holy Scriptures which are able to give us the wisdom needed for salvation, since all Scripture is inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:15-16. Thank You for hearing this prayer that’s in accordance with Your Will, 1 Jn 5:14-15, for it’s Your desire All are saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4 — and for Your glory and a testimony of Your mercy we agree in Jesus’ Name…

We hear your cry, Father, and we stand with you in this painful and complex situation, lifting it before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and conviction. Your love for your son and your longing for his mother to walk in repentance and truth is evident, and we join you in praying that God’s will be done in every aspect of this matter.

First, we rebuke the spirit of division, manipulation, and ungodliness that has sought to fracture this family. The late-night calls, financial exploitation, and the patterns of passive aggression and immorality you describe are not of God. The Bible is clear: "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3). The behavior you’ve endured, suggestive profiles, meeting men inappropriately, and the disregard for biblical order, is a direct violation of God’s design for marriage and family. We declare that these things must cease in Jesus’ name, for "marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). The financial exploitation you mention is also a form of injustice, and we pray that God would expose and dismantle any schemes rooted in greed or deceit. "The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him" (Proverbs 11:1).

We also address the issue of your marriage. Scripture is unmistakable: "A wife is not to depart from her husband. But if she departs, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to leave his wife" (1 Corinthians 7:10-11). However, you rightly reference 1 Corinthians 7:15, which states, "But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace." If she has hardened her heart against God and against you, Scripture permits you to release her, though we pray fervently that she would repent and reconciliation would be possible. Either way, we pray for your peace and protection as you navigate this difficult season. "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

We are deeply concerned for your son’s spiritual well-being. The Bible commands fathers to "bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). It is not God’s will for a child to be raised in an environment where sin is normalized or where biblical authority is undermined. We pray that God would intervene to either soften her heart toward repentance or, if necessary, grant you the wisdom and legal means to protect your son from further spiritual harm. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). We also pray that the counselors and believers who have offered guidance would continue to stand in the gap, speaking truth in love and holding her accountable.

Most urgently, we pray for her salvation. You are right to plead for her to experience godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). The lifestyle she is living, marked by independence, deceit, and immorality, is a path that leads to destruction, but God is patient, "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We cry out for the Holy Spirit to convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and for her to respond to that conviction with a broken and contrite heart. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, these, O God, You will not despise" (Psalm 51:17). We also pray that God would use whatever means necessary, even hardship, to turn her from her ways, as He did with the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). May she come to her senses and return to the Father, who stands ready to embrace her with open arms.

We rebuke the false security she may feel in her sins. Many believe they are "safe" because they attend church or have a form of godliness, but Scripture warns, "They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him" (Titus 1:16). True salvation produces fruit, repentance, humility, and a transformed life. We pray that God would strip away any deception and reveal the truth of her spiritual condition to her. "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves" (2 Corinthians 13:5). May she come to a place of genuine repentance, not just remorse over consequences, but a turning away from sin and toward God.

For you, we pray for strength, wisdom, and grace to walk in obedience to God’s Word. It is not easy to release someone you love into God’s hands, trusting Him to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). But you are called to peace, and we pray that God would guard your heart from bitterness, anger, or despair. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). We also pray for your son, that God would protect his heart and mind, and that he would come to know the love of his Heavenly Father even in the midst of this brokenness.

We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18). We resist the enemy’s schemes and command every spirit of deception, division, and immorality to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray that God would open doors for righteousness and close doors that lead to further harm. May He grant you favor in the legal processes ahead, and may the outcome be swift and just, aligning with His perfect will.

Finally, we want to address the foundation of your prayer. It is clear that you are praying in the name of Jesus, and we affirm that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If she does not turn to Christ, she will face eternal separation from God. But we serve a God who is rich in mercy and who delights in saving the lost. We pray that she would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, not just as a religious figure, but as the One who died for her sins and rose again to give her new life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts but also with hope, for You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Soften hearts, expose sin, and bring about repentance and restoration where possible. Protect this child from spiritual harm and grant him a future filled with hope and purpose. Give [his father] wisdom, patience, and peace as he navigates this difficult season. We pray that You would be glorified in all of this, and that Your name would be exalted. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear you carrying so much in this prayer, the ache of lost time with your son, the weight of trying to negotiate what’s fair while guarding your heart against bitterness, and the deep longing for his mother to truly turn toward God. It’s heavy, and God sees every bit of it.

We’re especially struck that even in all this, you’re naming your willingness to forgive and to pray for her as Job prayed for his friends. That kind of love doesn’t come from ourselves; it’s the Spirit at work, and we just want to steady you in that. When the “other crosses” you mentioned, the passive aggression, the suggestive profiles, the distance, feel sharp, remember that God sees your choice to keep your heart open before him despite the injustice. That’s no small thing.

One practical step that might help with the immediate practical needs: as you ask for grace for things to work out quickly, consider whether a neutral third party (like a Christian mediator or pastoral counselor familiar with cross-cultural situations) could help with the communication around the calling time and financial agreement. Your desire to give generously but not to fund a lifestyle that goes against your conscience is godly wisdom, and having someone to help frame that conversation may protect your peace and the relationship you’re rebuilding with your son.

As for the deeper pain, keep leaning on your church community and those trained counselors who have been walking with you, they are the body of Christ holding you up. And as you continue to pray and fast, allow yourself to grieve what you’ve lost, knowing that Jesus holds every sorrow and walks through it with you.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank you that you see this father and his son. Please give wisdom and calm in the conversations about finances and schedules, and remove barriers so that peace and fairness prevail. Guard the heart of this child, surround him with what is good, and please draw his mother to true, life-changing repentance. Cover this father with your presence, keep him free from bitterness, and help him to continue releasing the weight into your capable hands. We ask all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I perceive in your words the groanings of a soul that has been deeply wounded, yet I trust those groanings are not those of a man crying out in mere vexation, but of a suppliant clinging to the promises of God. You have placed many petitions before the throne, and it is well; but see to it that your pleading is never a dictate to the Almighty, as though He needed to be informed of His business. Remember that our Lord in His own agony prefaced His request with, "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done." Breathe that spirit into all your prayers, and let holy submission sweeten every sigh.

You speak of the hour she calls, and the matter of finances. These are the galling trifles that the enemy of souls loves to magnify until they fret us into sin. Beware. Mortal things may only be loved in their proportion. The child of God soon finds that it is not so much his duty to pray, as his privilege, his joy, a necessity of his being. Will you not then, even in these outward vexations, "call upon God?" The hypocrite turns away in disgust when his comforts are pinched, but the true-born heir cries all the more. Let not a sleepless hour or a contested mite embitter you; these are but the rough logs upon the fire which refine your patience. What moment is there when a Christian is safe without prayer? None. And if you cannot turn her heart with all your reasoning, you may yet turn your own heart to the sweetness of communion with Christ in the storm.

But I must press upon you a graver matter. You are asking, and I join you with all my heart, for her repentance, that intense change of mind about sin which is "godly sorrow" indeed. Yet I charge you, look to your own spirit. You have been sinned against, and the memory of it stings. But have you any repentance to make before God for any bitterness that has crept in? A good child would not do anything which would make his father feel vexed with him. Have you grieved the Father by a lingering resentment? I mean not that you should call evil good, but that you should speak tenderly, as the Lord did to wandering Israel. True repentance gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ. Pray, then, that this miracle be wrought in her, but do not expect her to be reasoned into it; it is the still, small voice that breaks the rocky heart, not the whirlwind of our chiding. The judgments that have shaken her, the "earthquakes and typhoons" you mention, may indeed produce a carnal repentance that vanishes like the morning mist. Only the Holy Spirit can work that drawing which makes the soul cry, "What shall I say?" in childlike wonder at undeserved mercy.

You long for her to be saved so that your son may be raised in the fear of the Lord. This is a petition after God's own heart. Oh, for a family in which there is constant prayer, a family in which every child may safely follow the father's example! Yet the Lord may see fit to answer you by a road that seems dark to natural sight. The fruitful vine is pruned, and the child who has heard the Holy Scriptures from infancy may be brought in by the prayers of a father who wrestled alone. Stand in the gap, but let not your soul become entangled with the secondary things. The evil one would love nothing more than for you to become so fixed upon the time of a call or the sum of a coin that you lose the unction of your supplications. These things are but the dust in the balance; the weight of eternity hangs upon whether souls find the Saviour.

I urge you, then, to a holy perseverance. The hypocrite will not pray when in a desponding state. The true child, even when hope seems deferred, presses on. Let your faith be like a bow that is never unstrung. Keep your eye upon the Cross, where sorrow and love did meet, and from that hill of sacrifice draw your comfort. If He sees you in sorrow, He feels it in His heart. Go forward, then, through all proper channels, in peace and uprightness, trusting that the end of the Lord's dealings is full of goodness. And while you wait, let holiness and love be the marks of your own life, so that even those who oppose you may have no evil thing to say, except it be falsely.

Finally, look beyond these mists to the tearless land. Brief life is here our portion, sorrow and short-lived care. The life that knows no ending, the tearless life is there. Until then, may the God of all grace keep you from the sorrow of the world that worketh death, and fill you with that sanctified sorrow which only cleanses the windows of the soul to let in more of heaven. Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, for the promise is sure to faith, and the covenant stands fast. Let your prayer be constant, your heart tender, and your hope unmoved. Amen.

Your petition, heavy with the cries of a father and fortified with many words of Scripture, has been laid before us. I see your longing for the mother of your son to turn from her path and find the salvation that is in Christ Jesus. This is a holy desire; we are commanded to pray for all, that they may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Yet let us take care that even a holy desire not be corrupted by a root of bitterness. You have asked that things might crash down around her if need be, that she be shaken. You have asked for mercy, but also that her false security be taken away. Are these the prayers of one who forgives as he has been forgiven? Be on guard, lest your prayer become an accusation, lest your tongue, which should speak blessing, utter anything that savors of imprecation. The mouth that will touch the Lord’s Body must be kept pure; let no curse be born upon it. Revilers will not inherit the kingdom of God. If you pray for God to bring calamity upon her to force repentance, you are praying against yourself, for you approach the throne of grace with a polluted mouth. Do you not know that kindness is what leads to repentance? Be an imitator of God, who makes His sun rise on the evil and the good. Forgive her, even now, from the heart, and then your own prayer for her soul will ascend with power.

You name many griefs: the times of calling, the financial disputes, the silence, the suggestive profiles, the lost months with your son. These are real wounds. But the sorrow of this world works death. Do not let your hurt fester into a worldly grief that demands repayment. Godly sorrow, on the other hand, works repentance unto salvation, not to be repented of. Weep for her soul, yes; weep that she does not know the wisdom of the Cross, which seems foolishness to the perishing but is the power of God. That wisdom is hidden from the rulers of this age, but to the perfect, those who believe, it is life. Pray that she may be counted among the perfect, not by worldly wisdom, but by the foolishness of preaching. And as you pray, examine your own heart. The Holy Spirit will not dwell where bitterness, anger, or covetousness make their home. Drive away these enemies by forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. When you become tender-hearted and kind, what is to hinder the Spirit from filling you and strengthening your prayers?

As for the practical matters, bring them to God with thanksgiving, but cast off anxiety. Let your requests be made known, then leave the outcome to Him who works all things after the counsel of His will. You have seen some consolation in the video calls; thank God for this mercy without clutching at it. You are not bound to an unbeliever, as the Apostle says, but you are bound to peace. Walk in that peace, and do not let the scheduling of a phone call or the size of a payment become a snare to your soul. The Lord knows what your son truly needs.

Even the sin that seems most defiant can be washed away by true repentance. Did not Peter deny Christ and then go out and weep bitterly? And he obtained mercy, even before the Sacrifice was fully offered. The patience of God is salvation, not willing that any should perish. Therefore, do not grow weary. Continue in fervent prayer, yes, and in fasting, but above all in love. Speak tenderly to her in your heart, as the prophet was commanded, even while you wait. Your son will see in you a father who reflects the Father of mercies. That is a greater inheritance than any earthly sum.

Let the still, small voice of the Spirit, not the whirlwind of calamity, be what you entreat for her. For it is relationship with that gentle voice that draws the soul out of the cave of sin. I join my prayer to yours: that she may be granted repentance unto life, that she may raise her son in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and that you both may be saved, with all the elect, in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
