Nochaeld

Beloved Warrior
🙌 Father, thank you for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, James 5:16. Thank You that I have had contact through video the last week four days. Thank You that as much in us is able, we forgive her and been praying for her as Job prayed for his friends, Job 42:10-16, for keeping my son from videoing with me then (months of his life I barely got to see him during that time) -- and though I'll never get that back -- I have some consolation now and know You are good, and he has some benefit by sensing relationship, love and seeing me, knowing I care. Father I thank You love us and we are examples of You to an extent, Eph 5:1, in showing You to our offspring... Thank You as I kNOW You will continue to work things together for good, Rom 8:28, after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, and that the end of The LORD's dealings are good, James 5:11, to give us a hope and a future, Jer 29:11.

I am asking she will do two things, 1) Call earlier like 10pm so I may have more of a daytime schedule in my location. 2) That she comes to agree to a financial amount that is more appropriate to his needs, not an exorbitant exploitation of a foreigner's finances. I am more than willing to contribute and help support legitimate needs, even graciously, yet hesitant to further a prodigal and exorbitant lifestyle that is in essence opposite of what the Word of God, my pastors, praying believers and clear conscience dictates as necessary or needed. I also would request grace for this to work out quickly and easily as You are able to do everything, and with You nothing is impossible. I sense Your activity in this all, even the conversations and their length, and ask for continued favor, mercy, grace and protection on this communication, my heart and theirs, and that I yield to 1 Cor 7:15, letting the unbeliever go, I am not bound to her anymore but free, and You have called us to peace. Help me go through the proper channels and may it seem like but a few days to me as You did for Jacob, Gen 29:20.

Help me bear the other crosses of "passive aggressiveness," "silence" and "pictures and videos" sent to others and taken with others, "suggestive online profiles"and "meeting men at various locations" -- May the trained counsellors who wanted us to come aside and give us guidance and accountability continue to pray for her and the youngster, safety and blessing… But I concede again she has free will, "But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God, not being baptized by John themselves," Luke 7:30.

Yet do continue to pray you have mercy and take away “false security” of eternal life and turn her from being "secure in her sins." Allow her to become REAL, EVERLASTING CHANGE, Repentance unto life, saving grace, and renewing of the mind, proving what the will of God really is, Rom 12:2-3. Let her change, humble her, let things crash down if need be all around her as the earthquakes and typhoons shook her up back in October and November… But we learn from Elijah sometimes "Power Encounters" are short lived, and RELATIONSHIP with the "Still, small voice" of the Holy Spirit that gave him grace to obey the LORD and come out of the cave to speak with God, see 1 Kings 19:1-19, especially 1 Kings 19:11-12, 13 for the "gentle blowing of the still, small voice" eliciting Elijah to stop running and obey the Lord...

Please Lord, SAVE HER so she can RAISE OUR SON with RESPECT for YOU, Eph 6:4, Your WAYS and for The Marriage Covenant (Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33), and BIBLICAL ORDER, 1 Cor 11:3, 1 Pet 3:1-7; Gen 2:17-18… "Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done," Luke 22:42, Heb 5:7. Please use her church, preaching, teaching, bring others into her path to warn her and gently correcter, use any and every means to bring her to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, Acts 17:30...

IN UNITY We submit to YOU as the CHURCH that You have BUILT that the GATES of HELL CANNOT WITHSTAND, Matt 16:16-17, and RESIST the DEVIL, James 4:7… FLEE from her, me, him, us!!! -- In JESUS’ NAME… And let me continue to pray fervently and fast diligently — and not be embittered toward her, 1 Peter 3:1-7 and speak tenderly to her -- Hos 2:14 -- she will "perish" without repentance, but that's not YOUR will, LORD, and DEFINITELY not mine — “God is not slow toward us, but patient, not willing any should PERISH, but all come to REPENTANCE — 2 Peter 3:9 (metanoia — intense change of mind about sin — independence, lying, stealing, cheating are NOT "cool" but those things should be "former way of life -- not ongoing" and ought now to cause shame, Rom 6:21)... Also, statistically will have a better chance of being saved with having his real Dad raise him in the training and instruction of the Lord, Eph 6:4. It should be that “from infancy he knows the Holy Scriptures which are able to give us the wisdom needed for salvation, since all Scripture is inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:15-16. Thank You for hearing this prayer that’s in accordance with Your Will, 1 Jn 5:14-15, for it’s Your desire All are saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4 — and for Your glory and a testimony of Your mercy we agree in Jesus’ Name…

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and intercession. Father, we see the deep pain and longing in this request, pain over lost time with a son, frustration over ungodly influences, and a desperate cry for repentance and redemption. We stand in agreement with the truth that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Yet we also acknowledge the weight of sin and the brokenness it brings, not just to individuals, but to families and generations.

First, we rebuke the spirit of manipulation, exploitation, and ungodly control that has sought to divide this family. The request speaks of financial demands that appear to go beyond need and into greed, and we declare that such behavior is not of You, Lord. Scripture warns, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed and have pierced themselves with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). We pray that You would expose any unjust motives and bring conviction where there is hardness of heart. Father, we ask that You provide wisdom and discernment in navigating these financial matters, that they would be handled with integrity and in a way that honors You. If this is a matter of exploitation, we ask that You shut it down and provide a just resolution.

We also address the sin of fornication and adultery that has been alluded to in this request. The mention of suggestive online profiles, meeting men at various locations, and the breakdown of a marriage covenant is deeply grievous to Your heart. Scripture is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). We rebuke the spirit of immorality and call this sister to repentance. Father, we pray that You would bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), not just temporary remorse. We ask that You would shatter any false sense of security she may have in her sin and awaken her to the reality of her need for salvation. Let her see that her choices are not only harming herself but also her son, whom You have entrusted to her care.

We also lift up the son in this situation. Father, we pray that You would protect his heart, mind, and spirit from the confusion and pain that comes from living in a broken home. We ask that You would surround him with godly influences, mentors, teachers, and family members who will point him to You. We declare over him that "from infancy, you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 3:15). Lord, we pray that he would grow up knowing Your love, Your truth, and Your ways. We ask that You would soften his mother’s heart so that she would raise him in the training and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), as You have commanded.

We also address the matter of the marriage covenant. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). The request mentions 1 Corinthians 7:15, which speaks of an unbelieving spouse leaving, and we acknowledge that this is a painful but sometimes necessary reality. However, we also recognize that this is not a license to abandon the marriage lightly. Father, we pray that if there is any possibility of reconciliation, You would make it clear. But if not, we ask that You would grant this brother the strength to walk in peace and not bitterness. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and to trust You with the outcome.

We also rebuke the spirit of passive-aggressiveness, silence, and manipulation that has been present in this situation. These are not the fruits of the Spirit but the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). Father, we pray that You would bring healing to this family and restore healthy, godly communication. We ask that You would give this brother the grace to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to set boundaries that honor You.

Most importantly, we pray for salvation. The request mentions the urgency of repentance, and we echo that cry. Father, we know that You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would break through the hardness of heart and bring this sister to a place of genuine repentance. Let her experience the still, small voice of Your Holy Spirit (1 Kings 19:12), drawing her to Yourself. We pray that You would use every means, preaching, teaching, godly counsel, and even the consequences of her actions, to bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Lord, we declare that it is not Your will that she perish, and we stand in faith that You are able to save her.

We also pray for this brother. Father, we ask that You would strengthen him in his faith and give him the endurance to run this race with perseverance (Hebrews 12:1). Help him to continue praying fervently and fasting diligently, not out of bitterness, but out of love for You and for his family. We pray that You would guard his heart from resentment and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give him the wisdom to navigate the legal and practical aspects of this situation, and the grace to trust You with the outcome.

Finally, we declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). We resist the devil and his schemes, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ. We pray that this family would be a testimony of Your mercy, Your grace, and Your power to redeem even the most broken situations. Lord, we ask that You would bring glory to Your name through this trial, and that Your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray,

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this family. We ask that You would move in power to bring repentance, healing, and restoration. Lord, we pray for the salvation of this sister, that she would turn from her sin and run to You. We ask that You would protect and provide for this brother and his son, and that You would give them the strength to walk in Your ways. Father, we declare that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You with this situation. Bring glory to Your name, Lord, and let Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We hear how much you love your son and how deeply you desire what’s best for him, even in the middle of such a tangled, painful situation. The way you’re choosing to forgive, even when the wounds are still fresh, takes real courage. It’s clear you’re not just trying to do the right thing on the outside; you’re asking God to keep your heart from growing bitter, and that matters.

When resentment starts creeping in, it can help to remember that forgiveness often begins as a decision before it ever feels like one. You can keep making that choice each time the hurt resurfaces, handing the debt and the outcome over to God, trusting that He sees and that He’s at work even when nothing seems to change. That decisional forgiveness protects your own soul from the slow corrosion of bitterness, and it frees you to focus on what you can influence, like being a steady, loving presence for your son and navigating the practical conversations ahead with integrity.

As you ask for her to cooperate on the call time and the financial amount, we’re praying you can approach those discussions with a calm, clear spirit, not controlled by old resentments. You might also find it grounding, the next time you feel the heaviness of her “silence” or the suggestive profiles, to pause and simply tell Jesus, “I release this to You, I will not let it poison me.”

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for the good moments this father has had with his son. Please give him wisdom and favor as he seeks an earlier call time and a just financial arrangement. Guard his heart from bitterness, let him keep releasing each wound to You. Protect his son, draw the boy’s mother to real, life-changing repentance, and give this dad the strength to walk the path of peace without being entangled in old pain. In Your name we pray.

True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. Here are scales and balances for you wherewith you may weigh repentance before God. The repentance you describe for her, a sorrow that crashes in like earthquakes and typhoons, must be watched with care. Beware of that repentance which comes of yourself, for it comes of the flesh. And that which is born of the flesh is flesh and not better. There is a kind of sorrow that terrifies for a season and then passes away, leaving the heart harder than before. It has in it no trace of submission, no touch of faith, no breath of love. There is nothing evangelical about it, it is legal all through, and therefore, worthless for salvation.

Yet the cry of your soul rises to heaven with many a precious scripture, and herein you plead aright. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The heart that leaps toward Christ at the thought that God has set Him forth to be a propitiation for sin, this is repentance after a godly sort. This is repentance that needs not to be repented of. Oh, how blessed it is to know where these two lines meet, the stripping of repentance, and the clothing of faith! Christ was nailed to the cross for it, that is the repentance which bringeth us salvation. Pray on then, with tears and heart-break, for the Spirit to work this intense change of mind in her, that she may no longer be secure in her sins, but may flee to the refuge of His finished work.

As for the matters of the schedule and the finances, here is a sphere where faith must not slumber. Men think that they need faith in building a temple; but faith is also needed in building a haystack. We need faith on the market as well as in the prayer-meeting. A practical work-day faith is what we most of all need. Go forward in the name of God about these things, and the gates of iron open to Divine strength. Yet remember, a hypocrite leaves off praying if he gets what he asks for, or if he does not. Let not the granting or withholding of these temporal comforts be the measure of your walk. The child of God in his chamber still needs faith, or solitude may be a nest for temptation. Even in your freedom, called to peace as you rightly note from the apostle, let the shield of faith cover all. Faith protects the conscience, for its full assurance of atonement quenches the fiery darts with that delightful text, "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleans us from all sin." That shield must bear the blows of passive aggressiveness, suggestive profiles, and all the other crosses you name; it is the universal remedy.

Honor your father and your mother, we are commanded, yet there is a pure channel of influence that runs deeper than all else. I think that to any young soul who has had a godly parent, the best way of life is to follow the road in which that father's principles would conduct him. Purity of heart, which comes from faith in Christ, is a splendid preparation for life. You are not bound to the unbeliever, but you are bound to the Lord who sees your desire for your son to know the Holy Scriptures from infancy. Let that desire drive you to your knees with a conquering faith that will not let the angel go without a blessing. How few of us go again and again to God, pleading as for our own lives for the increase of Zion and the saving of the ungodly. If the Son of Man comes, will He find much of such praying faith among us? Let it be found in you.

If suffering continues in seeing these things done amiss, and if the hope of quick, easy resolution tarries, look yet to the wisdom of the husbandman. The Lord of hosts is wonderful in counsel and excellent in working. He mentions with admiration the various methods adopted by the farmer; so too are His dealings varied and wise with the children of men. You seek to go through the proper channels. Do so, and then go to sleep and wake up in the morning and find that God has done all for you. Faith goes forward in the name of God. Let the months already lost be overmatched by a future hope, for in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence, and His children shall have a place of refuge.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have poured out a heart full of grief and longing, mingled with faith and hope, and this is good, for such is the travail of a soul that loves. You ask for your son’s mother to be turned from her sins and for right order in your dealings; you ask for her salvation, and that she may raise the child in the fear of God. But above all, you ask that she might come to true repentance. Take heed, then: repentance is no mere stirring of the emotions, no flood of tears that leaves the will unmoved. Esau wept bitterly and sought the blessing with tears, yet found no place of repentance, not because repentance was denied to him, but because his grief was not the sorrow after God that works a change of heart. True repentance loathes the sin, turns from it wholly, and brings forth fruits worthy of amendment. Do not mistake worldly sorrow or passing terror for that divine gift. Pray, therefore, that she may be granted not simply fear or regret, but that intense and thorough change of mind which the Scripture calls metanoia, a turning from independence, lying, and all uncleanness as things now shameful, not ornaments.

Yet despair not for her, nor for any who seems hardened. The same Paul who breathed threats and slaughter against the Church was suddenly arrested by grace, receiving revelation not from men but from God Himself. What is impossible with human reasoning is possible with the Lord, who can humble the proud and give a new heart in an instant. When our Lord spoke of eyes that were shut “lest they should be converted and I should heal them,” He did not declare their healing impossible but rather yearned for their turning. Therefore, persist in prayer and fasting, committing her to the God who desires all to come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth. The Church’s intercession is a mighty weapon; the prayer of the righteous, offered in unity, shakes the heavens.

Concerning the financial matter, walk wisely. You do well to provide for legitimate needs and to show generosity, for a father’s love reflects the heavenly Father’s care. Yet you are right to refuse support that would feed a prodigal and godless lifestyle. Alms given to enable sin become partners with the deed. Let your conscience, instructed by the Word and godly counselors, be your guide; give what is fitting and withhold where you would be accessory to dissipation. A clear conscience before God is worth more than gold.

As for your son, be not discouraged by the time lost. The Lord can redeem the years the locust has eaten. Continue to show him your love in whatever windows of contact you are granted; let him see in you a pattern of steadfast faith and patient endurance. Even from afar, a father’s prayers and example can plant seeds that will bear fruit. Commend him often to God, who can keep him from evil and bring to remembrance every good word you have spoken. When opportunity allows, speak tenderly, as the prophet says, and win him not by harshness but by that gentle blowing of the still small voice to which Elijah himself yielded.

You have already discerned much: you are called to peace, not to bondage; you must let the unbeliever depart, for you are free in such a case. Yet your freedom is not for bitterness but for intercession. Do not let the provocations you suffer, the silent treatment, the suggestive profiles, the worldliness, embitter your soul. Rather, by your own meek and quiet spirit, you may become a living epistle that testifies of Christ. Love your enemies, do good to those who despitefully use you, and so heap coals of fire on the head of any hard heart.

Finally, do not imagine that if she should once fall away from the profession she once made, there is no renewal. Some, having tasted the heavenly gift and the powers of the age to come, fall into grievous sin, and though there is no second baptism, there is a mighty repentance that can restore the soul. The laver cannot be repeated, but tears of true repentance can wash the conscience clean and form Christ anew in the heart, as Paul travailed again for the Galatians. Never cease to cry out for that miracle. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church when she prays in one accord, and the enemy must flee when we resist him steadfast in the faith.

Therefore, be strong in the Lord. Commit all outcomes into His hands, saying with our blessed Lord, “Nevertheless, not my will but Yours be done.” He who began this work in you and in your house will complete it in His time. He makes all things work together for good to those who love Him, and He will give you the hope and the future He has promised. Stand fast, pray without ceasing, and watch with thanksgiving.
