Beloved of All
🙌 Father, thank you for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, James 5:16. Thank You that I have had contact through video the last week four days. Thank You that as much in us is able, we forgive her and been praying for her as Job prayed for his friends, Job 42:10-16, for keeping my son from videoing with me then (months of his life I barely got to see him during that time) -- and though I'll never get that back -- I have some consolation now and know You are good, and he has some benefit by sensing relationship, love and seeing me, knowing I care. Father I thank You love us and we are examples of You to an extent, Eph 5:1, in showing You to our offspring... Thank You as I kNOW You will continue to work things together for good, Rom 8:28, after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, and that the end of The LORD's dealings are good, James 5:11, to give us a hope and a future, Jer 29:11.

I am asking she will do two things, 1) Call earlier and not 2am or 4am, but late evening, more like 10pm so I may have more of a daytime schedule in my location. 2) That she comes to agree to a financial amount that is more appropriate to his needs, not an exorbitant exploitation of a foreigner's finances. I am more than willing to contribute and help support legitimate needs, even graciously, yet hesitant to further a prodigal and exorbitant lifestyle that is in essence opposite of what the Word of God, my pastors, praying believers and clear conscience dictates as necessary or needed. I also would request grace for this to work out quickly and easily as You are able to do everything, and with You nothing is impossible. I sense Your activity in this all, even the conversations and their length, and ask for continued favor, mercy, grace and protection on this communication, my heart and theirs, and that I yield to 1 Cor 7:15, letting the unbeliever go, I am not bound to her anymore but free, and You have called us to peace. Help me go through the proper channels and may it seem like but a few days to me as You did for Jacob, Gen 29:20.

Help me bear the other crosses of "passive aggressiveness," "silence" and "pictures and videos" sent to others and taken with others, "suggestive online profiles"and "meeting men at various locations" -- May the trained counsellors who wanted us to come aside and give us guidance and accountability continue to pray for her and the youngster, safety and blessing… But I concede again she has free will, "But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God, not being baptized by John themselves," Luke 7:30.

Yet do continue to pray you have mercy and take away “false security” of eternal life and turn her from being "secure in her sins." Allow her to become REAL, EVERLASTING CHANGE, Repentance unto life, saving grace, and renewing of the mind, proving what the will of God really is, Rom 12:2-3. Let her change, humble her, let things crash down if need be all around her as the earthquakes and typhoons shook her up back in October and November… But we learn from Elijah sometimes "Power Encounters" are short lived, and RELATIONSHIP with the "Still, small voice" of the Holy Spirit that gave him grace to obey the LORD and come out of the cave to speak with God, see 1 Kings 19:1-19, especially 1 Kings 19:11-12, 13 for the "gentle blowing of the still, small voice" eliciting Elijah to stop running and obey the Lord...

Please Lord, SAVE HER so she can RAISE OUR SON with RESPECT for YOU, Eph 6:4, Your WAYS and for The Marriage Covenant (Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33), and BIBLICAL ORDER, 1 Cor 11:3, 1 Pet 3:1-7; Gen 2:17-18… "Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done," Luke 22:42, Heb 5:7. Please use her church, preaching, teaching, bring others into her path to warn her and gently correcter, use any and every means to bring her to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, Acts 17:30...

IN UNITY We submit to YOU as the CHURCH that You have BUILT that the GATES of HELL CANNOT WITHSTAND, Matt 16:16-17, and RESIST the DEVIL, James 4:7… FLEE from her, me, him, us!!! -- In JESUS’ NAME… And let me continue to pray fervently and fast diligently — and not be embittered toward her, 1 Peter 3:1-7 and speak tenderly to her -- Hos 2:14 -- she will "perish" without repentance, but that's not YOUR will, LORD, and DEFINITELY not mine — “God is not slow toward us, but patient, not willing any should PERISH, but all come to REPENTANCE — 2 Peter 3:9 (metanoia — intense change of mind about sin — independence, lying, stealing, cheating are NOT "cool" but those things should be "former way of life -- not ongoing" and ought now to cause shame, Rom 6:21)... Also, statistically will have a better chance of being saved with having his real Dad raise him in the training and instruction of the Lord, Eph 6:4. It should be that “from infancy he knows the Holy Scriptures which are able to give us the wisdom needed for salvation, since all Scripture is inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:15-16. Thank You for hearing this prayer that’s in accordance with Your Will, 1 Jn 5:14-15, for it’s Your desire All are saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4 — and for Your glory and a testimony of Your mercy we agree in Jesus’ Name…

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and deep concern. Father, we thank You for the opportunity to intercede on behalf of this family, for Your Word tells us that "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16 WEB). We recognize the pain, the longing, and the love that still lingers in this broken relationship, and we ask that You move mightily in every heart involved.

Lord, we first want to affirm the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that the one who has strayed from Your ways would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, experiencing true repentance, a godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB). Father, we ask that You would shatter any false sense of security in sin and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the emptiness of a life lived apart from You, and draw her back to the cross with a broken and contrite heart.

We also lift up the son in this situation, asking that You would protect his heart, mind, and spirit. Father, we pray that he would grow up knowing You, being taught Your ways from infancy, as Your Word instructs: "From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 3:15 WEB). We ask that You would raise up godly influences in his life, whether through this father, other family members, or the body of Christ, to guide him in the truth. May he come to respect and honor the marriage covenant as You designed it, understanding that it reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:32-33 WEB).

Lord, we must address the sin that has taken root in this situation. The patterns of manipulation, exploitation, and ungodly living are not hidden from Your sight. We rebuke the spirit of greed, deception, and rebellion that has sought to destroy this family. Your Word is clear: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB). We pray that the one who has walked in disobedience would come to see the destruction of her ways and turn from them. Father, we ask that You would humble her, even if it requires hardship or loss, so that she might seek You with all her heart.

We also recognize the need for wisdom and discernment in this father’s life. Lord, we pray that You would give him the strength to walk in peace, as Your Word instructs: "If the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace" (1 Corinthians 7:15 WEB). Help him to release any bitterness, anger, or resentment, choosing instead to speak with kindness and gentleness, even as Hosea was called to pursue his wayward spouse (Hosea 2:14 WEB). Father, we ask that You would guard his heart and mind, keeping him from sin as he navigates this difficult season.

We also lift up the financial concerns before You, Lord. We pray that You would provide wisdom and clarity in this matter, ensuring that any support given is used for godly purposes and not to enable sin. Your Word warns us against being "partakers in other men’s sins" (1 Timothy 5:22 WEB), and we ask that You would guide this father in setting boundaries that honor You. Father, we trust that You are able to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB), and we ask that You would bring resolution to this situation quickly and justly.

Lord, we also rebuke the spirit of division and deception that has sought to destroy this family. We stand on Your promise that "the gates of Hades will not prevail" against Your Church (Matthew 16:18 WEB), and we resist the enemy in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we ask that You would bring healing, restoration, and redemption to every broken place.

Father, we pray for the counselors and believers who have been interceding for this family. We ask that You would strengthen them, give them wisdom, and use them as instruments of Your peace. May their prayers and encouragement be a light in the darkness, pointing the way back to You.

Finally, Lord, we surrender this entire situation into Your hands. We trust that You are working, even when we cannot see it, and we ask that You would bring about a miracle of repentance, restoration, and healing. May Your name be glorified in every outcome, and may this family come to know You more deeply through this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone has the power to save and transform lives. Amen.

We can hear how much you love your son and how heavily these practical and emotional burdens weigh on you. It is exhausting to navigate the ongoing logistics of calls and finances with someone who doesn’t share your framework, and it is even harder when you are grieving lost time you can never retrieve. We are genuinely thankful with you that you have had some real contact this week, that is no small mercy, and we join you in praying for more of it.

From what you described, your request around the finances sounds less like an unwillingness to help and more like a plea for something measured and sustainable. One step that has helped others in similar situations is finding a neutral, trained third party, preferably a Christian divorce mediator who understands both the financial realities and the need for fairness, to work out an amount and a structure that everyone can live with. Mediation is a way to reduce some of the ongoing conflict while still stewarding your resources and your conscience well. It can also relieve you of the exhausting back-and-forth of negotiating directly when emotions are high.

Beyond the money and the schedule, we see a man holding a lot of heartache, the passive aggression, the provocative profiles, the meetings, and the painful weight of praying for someone who is living in ways that alarm you. That is a heavy cross. Carrying it without becoming embittered is a genuine battle, and simply persisting in prayer for her true good, as you are doing, is itself a work of grace.

There really is a grief to walk through here. Not only the loss of the marriage, but the loss of daily fatherhood and the loss of peace. Over time, moving through that grief honestly, letting yourself name the sadness without rushing past it, will help keep your heart from hardening. The goal is not to deny the pain but to come to a place where, little by little, those wounds are not the main thing steering you.

Let us pray briefly for you now.

Father, thank You for every video call this week and for the consolation it has brought this father and his son. We ask for two specific mercies: a settled rhythm of contact at a reasonable hour, and a financial agreement that is just, sustainable, and reached with minimal conflict. Give wisdom and impartial help where it is needed, and let the proper channels lead to peace. Guard this man’s heart from bitterness, and carry the grief he cannot carry alone. As he continues to release his former spouse and his son into Your hands, grant him Your own steadying presence. In Jesus’ name.

You have spread your cause before the throne of grace with a heart that knows the weight of sin and the sweetness of forgiveness. It is well that you cling to the promises, for our God delights to be held to His word. Yet let me remind you, the forgiveness you have freely received through the blood of Christ is the very spring from which all your own forgiving must flow. You speak of forgiving as Job prayed for his friends; that is right and good. But see to it that no root of bitterness springs up unnoticed. For he who has been forgiven much loves much, and love covers a multitude of provocations. When her silence or her worldly conduct stings you, remember the prodigal’s father: slow are the steps of repentance, but swift are the feet of forgiveness. God can run where we can scarcely limp, and if we are limping toward Him in prayer for her, He will run toward her with kisses of mercy.

True repentance, that which is unto life, gives all glory to God. It is not the mere sorrow for consequences, which the world knows and soon forgets; it is a rainbow made of tears of grief for sin and hopeful glances at the finished work of Christ. You have asked that the earthquakes and shakings of her life be used for her awakening, and I join you in that. Yet learn from Elijah that the Lord was not in the wind, nor in the earthquake, nor in the fire, but in the still small voice. A heart humbled by the gentle insistence of the Spirit is surer ground than all the terrors of judgment. Pray therefore that she may hear the quiet, effectual whisper, “There is forgiveness,” and that she may turn from the false security of a repentance that only fears hell, to that godly sorrow which worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of.

Concerning the times of calling and the matter of finances, you may certainly lay these requests before your Father, for He cares for you. Yet be watchful that you do not set the times and seasons which the Father has put in His own power. The child may ask for bread, but he does not prescribe the hour of supper. Trust His wisdom. As for the finances, give freely as grace enables you, but refuse to subsidize that which dishonors the Lord. In this you stand on solid ground: let your yea be yea and your nay, nay, and leave the issue with Him who judges righteously.

You have been called to peace; if the unbeliever departs, let her depart. A brother or sister is not in bondage in such cases. Yet do not let go of the holy art of speaking tenderly, as the Lord allures the backslider into the wilderness to speak comfortably to her. Your gentleness may be the very net in which the Spirit catches her conscience. And for the boy, hold fast to this: it is the plain will of God that a father bring up his children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Statistics may comfort, but promises are better. “From a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation.” Pray that this word be fulfilled, though all the world stand against it.

Above all, keep your eyes fixed on the ocean of forgiveness that is in Christ Jesus. There is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. It is as broad as your guilt and hers, and as free as the air you breathe. The father saw the prodigal a great way off; those eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. He sees her now. He hears your prayers and her name is written on His heart. Could we draw a limit where He draws none? The text says, “There is forgiveness,” and no sinner is excluded. Go on praying, fasting, and believing. The Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple; even in this matter He may answer you speedily. But if He tarries, wait for Him. The vision is for an appointed time; though it tarry, wait for it. It will surely come; it will not tarry. The Lord bless thee and keep thee; the Lord make His face shine upon thee and give thee peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow you bear for your son and for the woman who is now distant from you is not the sorrow that breeds death, but that which, if rightly borne, works repentance unto life. For godly sorrow, as the Apostle says, produces a repentance that leaves no regret. This very grief you feel, the ache of separation, the wound of injustice, the longing for her salvation, is a token of a soul aflame with divine love, not a festering of worldly spite. Yet be vigilant: do not let that sorrow slide into vexation over money or the hour of a call. These earthly things are passing. You will have your son in your heart and in your prayers, and God will order the rest. You have said rightly that if the unbeliever departs, let her go, but let your going be in peace, not in tight-fisted anxiety. Abraham did not quarrel over flocks when he parted from Lot; he lifted his eyes to the larger promise.

But do not despair of her soul. Despair alone is the wound beyond healing. The thief on the cross found paradise in a single turn of his heart; the harlot washed the Lord’s feet with her tears and rose in an instant more honorable than the virgins. No soul is so far sunk that the medicine of repentance cannot raise it. The very fact that you still pray, still weep, still desire her amendment, this is the Spirit’s work in you. So continue fasting, continue offering fervent prayers, but do not, like Elijah in the cave, look for God only in the earthquake and fire; listen also for the still, small voice in the ordinary arrangement of your days. God is not slow, but He waits that the fruit may ripen.

For the boy, remember: your truest fatherhood is not in the video screen but in the prayer closet and in the example of a life submitted to Christ. Raise him by your tears and your righteousness; those seeds the Holy Spirit will water. If the Lord grants you more time with him, give thanks; if He withholds, still give thanks, as Job did. For what did Job lose that he did not receive back a hundredfold, not only in kind but in the deepened knowledge of God?

And as for her, persevere in kindness. Speak tenderly, as the prophet Hosea says. Let no bitterness take root, for that would defile many. The sorrow you feel for her sins must never harden into resentment; that is worldly sorrow, and it works only death. Godly sorrow cleanses, intercedes, and waits in hope. Let your prayers be as Moses’ arms upheld, tireless, and the victory will be the Lord’s. Whatever comes, you are free in Christ: free to suffer, free to love, free to entrust all to Him who judges righteously. His peace is not the absence of turmoil but the presence of the One who has overcome the world.
