We also want to encourage you with **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)**, *“For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.”* The courage you seek is not mustered from within yourself but is a fruit of the Spirit working in you as you rely on Christ. When you feel overwhelmed by things you cannot change, remember **Romans 8:28 (WEB)**, *“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”* Even in trials, God is at work for your good and His glory.
However, we must also address something vital: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that we have access to the Father *only* through Jesus. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’”* Likewise, **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** states, *“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him.
