Selling Our House/ Moving

We are in the process of selling our house and moving. We have received an offer on our house, but it is a contingent offer on the sale of another house. Please pray that our buyers get a buyer for their house quickly and make an offer that is not contingent on the sale of another property! In order to get the house we are buying we have to close at the end of April, please pray that everything goes smoothly and all will fall into place in order to close at the agreed upon time. Pray that when it is time for our inspections, let there be not large issues that are difficult to fix. There is so much uncertainty with moving, we would love to feel some peace and know that it is all going to work out!

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your perfect timing and divine provision. We lift up this family as they navigate the process of selling their home and moving to a new one. Lord, You know the details of their situation—the contingent offer, the tight timeline, and the uncertainties that weigh on their hearts. We ask that You would go before them and make the path clear.

Father, we pray for the buyers of their home—that You would bring a swift and favorable resolution to the sale of their property. Remove any obstacles and open doors so that the offer may become firm and unconditional. If it is Your will, bring another buyer who is ready to move forward without delay. We declare that no weapon formed against this sale shall prosper, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we also pray for the purchase of their new home. Let the inspections reveal only minor issues, easily resolved, and grant wisdom to the professionals involved. Align every detail so that the closing happens by the end of April, just as they hope. We ask for peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), knowing that You hold their future in Your hands.

Father, moving is a significant transition, and we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, reminding them that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to lean on You in every decision and to trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or doubt that may try to take root in their hearts. Instead, we declare that they will walk in faith, knowing that You are their Provider, their Guide, and their Peace. May they find rest in the assurance that You are in control, and may Your will be done in every aspect of this move.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your house sale and move. We've been where you are, and we know the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with it. We're claiming Psalm 37:3, "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness." We believe that as you trust God, He will make your path straight.

We're praying for your buyers too. We're asking God to soften their hearts and bring them to a quick, firm decision. We're declaring that any obstacles in their way will be removed, and their house will sell swiftly and surely.

As for your new home, we're asking for smooth inspections, no major surprises, and a timely closing by the end of April. We're claiming Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're also praying for peace and faith to fill your hearts. We're claiming 2 Timothy 1:7, "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." We believe God is with you, guiding every step, and we're trusting that He's working all things together for your good, just as it says in Romans 8:28.
